Nice place.
We had to attend my brother in law’s funeral. My 95 year old father had to travel with us and hotels are a poor option. The house was wonderful and perfectly located to the funeral home and to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend it.

Unexpected small town surprise
This cottage was a wonderful and very welcome surprise. We needed to visit Moweaqua to help with family matters and this was a perfect place to stay. The house is charming from the outside, large front porch. I wish it had been warm enough to sit out on it. Decorated with the most adorable Christmas/winter/holiday theme on the inside - it was charming. Super easy check in, the hosts were very communicative even before we got there. Kitchen well equipped - we cooked a full dinner. Comfy beds and clean white linens. It was all clean and crisp/ Felt at home right away. Will definitely go back when need to visit family again

Great little rental
I rented this property for my parents and my so we could attend a family reunion in nearby Pana, IL. The house was just as the pictures indicate. I had a question about the TV and the host was very quick to respond. Overall we were very please with the house and its location. We even found a cute little coffee shop right around the corner. Should we decide to return to Pana, we would definitely rent this house again if it was available.

Better than a hotel
Amazing place to stay when we visit family from Moweaqua. Before we would get a hotel in Decatur but this property is perfect to have family over to entertain them, visit, and relax. Love how it is decorated as it's very cheerful! The property manager and owner were amazing and they went out of our way to make sure we had everything we needed. Already working on scheduling our next trip there and will be staying there again.

Great alternative to hotel in Decatur area
All the amenities of home! Perfect for our group of 3 sisters and our 92 year old Aunt. Enjoyed being able to fix our own meals. Beds very comfy and well dressed - cozy environment. Would stay here again if in the area.

Perfect!
This was the perfect size for me and some friends traveling over the weekend for a wedding in Decatur. It was only about 25 minutes from the venue and we enjoyed our stay here. No complaints! :) Hosts are very nice and responsive as well.

Nice house in quite town
Stayed with our daughter, son-in-law & 2 grandsons for 4 nights to attend a family wedding in nearby Taylorville. House appeared very clean and recently updated. Master bathroom was exceptionally nice. Beds & bedding were comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with all the basics, plus some spices and condiments & the owners also provided coffee & a bottle of sparkling grape juice. They also left a nerf football, markers and coloring pad for the grandkids. House was also supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry supplies, dish soap, puzzles, books and several board games, which were all a nice touch and made things very convenient. The house is within walking distance to a small town grocery store, a few downtown shops and a couple restaurants and a local park with playground equipment. Only negative was we ended up sitting in our bedroom quite a bit as the Living room furniture really isn't comfortable for more then 2 people, for any length of time. Location was convenient for us, only about 20 min to Taylorville or Decatur or about 40 min to Springfield, which we visited each of these locations during our stay. I would definitely recommend this home if visiting the area and would stay again there if the need arises.
