![Camped out for the weekend on Hotel Island on Lake Ouachita (there is no hotel on the island :) It's just the largest of hundreds of islands on this lake). This was the view of our beach and first sunset on the lake. « We loved staying at the Harbor House. Check in was easy and the location and space was awesome. We travelled with another couple and had plenty of space to stretch out and relax in the living areas. « Lakeside retreat! We enjoyed relaxing in this charming house right on the water. Our first evening we were greeted by owls as we enjoyed our dinner. Over the next few days we saw blue herons and bald eagles (yes plural)! We loved that we were able to bring our dog and the fenced in yard meant she had plenty of space to explore. The back of the house is set up with such nice seating areas. The vine covered area with hanging lights was one of my favorites! I would love to come back while it’s in...

« We had an amazing time celebrating Labor Day weekend at this property. It had all the amenities we could possibly want. We stayed three nights and have been discussing returning in the future for another trip. If we ever had an issue, the host was quick to respond. We enjoyed kayaking, laying out by the pool, and soaking in the hot tub. »
