Great stay, location was OK but a good walk from town (especially in ski clobber), mis-communication regarding (i) initial payment, so had to pay more than original asking price, (ii) paying for towels and linens so was chased for £££ (not a pleasant experience) and (iii) now it seems I am being chased for more £££ but the request has come in French so have no idea why I’m being charged an extra £100?? These little annoyances really take the shine off stay and experience I’m afraid.

Fantastic
Danielle was so helpful answering all our queries - she collected lift passes for us too which saved us a job in the morning. The chalet was lovely , warm , clean and spacious for 7 of us. The bus was just outside but the walk into town was only 5-10 mins on the flat so walked in most evenings. Definitely stay again

Great place to stay. Loved it
Madame Baud met us at the property to hand over keys and lift passes. The chalet was really well equipped and very homely for six of us. Very warm and cosy. Just a short walk to the bus stop made getting to the heart of Morzine and the ski lifts very easy - just a couple of minutes. Would readily recommend this place to our friends or return next year.

A spacious Nepalese themed property full of character.
We had a great stay here and would recommend this property for large groups. We didn't use it to it's full advantage as we dined out every night. Would be well suited for family stays and has all the amenities any group would need. Lovely large dining room table and a quirky but functional floor plan. The place was clean and tidy. Danielle was friendly and quick to respond with any questions despite a few language barrier issues (I speak no/little French). There is a nice little pub 'The Sherpa' a few hundred meters up the main road and the town center 10/15 minutes walk in the same direction. Free bus service runs past the bottom of the property's drive into town every 10 minutes. I would quite happily revisit this property.

Enjoyable stay in handy location
Danielle was an excellent host, prompt replies to messages. Was there to meet us even though we were delayed till late evening. Quirky chalet but met our needs. Only down side was the additional studio only being accessed from outside the chalet but this was known before hand. Very handy for ski bus but also only a 10-15 mins walk into the centre. Well equipped for self catering and warm when returning from skiing. The two bedrooms upstairs are accessed through each other with a shower in one and the toilet accessed through the other bedroom. This would not be suitable for all groups and we did do a little move around of beds to provide more privacy. Overall good value for money as we went in half term.

Komfortable, praktische Unterkunft für die Familie
Funktionelle Küche mit viel Zubehör. Wohnzimmer mit großem Tisch und vielen Stühlen, und ein gut gefüllter Schrank mit Geschirr und Gläsern. 2 bequeme Couches direkt daneben fürs "Abhängen". Schlafzimmer im EG mit eigenem Bad, Duschwanne und Waschmaschine, ausreichend groß. Schlafzimmer im OG etwas kreativ; 1 Durchgangszimmer mit Bett und Zugang zum Bad/Toilette, und ein dahinter liegendes Zimmer mit 3 Betten. Hat für uns gut gepasst, da 3 junge Damen und 1 junger Herr, die sich gut miteinander arrangieren konnten. Es gibt keine zentrale Garderobe für die Skikleidung, aber dafür ist ausreichend Platz in den Zimmern. Lage ist ruhig, etwas versetzt von der Hauptstraße. Haltestelle für Skibus 100 m entfernt; alternativ der 15 min Morgen-Spaziergang zum zentralen Lift "Le Pleney". Da wir nur das schöne Skigebiet Morzine/Les Gets genutzt hatten, war dies unsere tägliche Start-Location; Ski, Snowboards und Schuhe hatten wir direkt beim Lift bei BAUD gemietet, perfekte Location und für uns seit nunmehr 20 Jahren perfekter Service. Wir werden das Haus für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt gerne wieder anmieten, und können es gut empfehlen.

Wir waren sechs Männer die fürs Mountainbiken gekommen sind. Die Unterkunft war schön groß mit toller Terrasse. Es war alles sehr unkompliziert durch den Vermieter. Im Hof befand sich eine große Garage wo wir die Fahrräder Nachts abschließen konnten. Gerne wieder!

Perfect!
Perfect location to go ski (bus or by foot) and you can reach by foot (5 min) pubs and groceries shops. Quiet and well kept neighborhood and perfect contact with the owner. House was amazing and felt like it was ours, very cozy and had all we could have needed and more. Would definitely come again.

Super séjour ! Une semaine vraiment reposante dans le chalet de Danielle et Anselme qui nous ont très bien accueillis. Le chalet est confortable et bien équipé, à proximité des commerces, parfait pour les enfants avec son petit jardin et la prairie juste au-dessus pour faire de la luge. Une parenthèse enchantée dans cette période de Covid. Merci encore
