"Clean but dated rooms, literally no amenities but friendly staff and access to paid laundry. Near many restaurants and easy but fun walking trails with lots of otters near the big rock. Outdoor smocking area away from rooms and an elevator. Very tiny to small balconies on top floor with a partial view of the bay/ocean. Easy walk ability. On site parking. Clean but heavily stained carpet in room."

"Best part of the hotel is the location, about 2 blocks from the wharf and 2-4 blocks from the downtown area. We stayed in a lightly renovated kitchenette, unit 4. Although the walls were thin, we didn't hear our neighbors or outside traffic much. It was mainly the seagulls and sea lions in the morning. Room came with it's own parking space. The kitchenette is usable, with a small fridge and stove, a microwave and toaster, a few pots and pans and 2 sets of tableware. The main room is decently sized, having a king bed, small table with chairs, and set of drawers. We didn't have problems with the bathroom but it is a little tight at the sink and in the shower. The kitchenette is big enough for a person to cook or two people to have their meal."
