"A great chalet located next to Sherpa supermarket and a short walk to the centre of Chatel with all the cafes, restaurants, bakeries and Super Chatel ski lift. The chalet is very clean, well equipped (washing machine a bonus) and warm. Hosts are great and easy to communicate with. The welcome gifts are a nice touch. Will definately recommend."

"Ron and Eileen were there to meet us on arrival, the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely gesture. From the very start of our stay our hosts were very attentive, from offering to go the pharmacy (I was poorly first couple of days) to giving us great advice on where to go and what beaches to visit. Everything required was available in the studio and the view was absolutely outstanding across Lac Leman. Many many thanks for letting us stay with you."

"Duplex apartment was exactly as described. The layout was very well thought out and worked well. It was just 4 of us staying - parents and adult children. Plenty of space in the living area with log burner - we used it in April and had to open the windows as it was too effective! The kitchen/ dining area had everything and plenty of it. Great shower with lots of hot water, the bath upstairs was underneath a large Velux window so the beautiful starry night sky was easily visible. We couldn't...

"The property was so beautiful, we felt we were living a dream. Our portion of the house (the lower level) showed considerable attention to detail and was extremely well-supplied. We spent hours on the patio overlooking the steep hillside, the lake, and the mountains. Absolutely wonderful!"

"The apartment is very well located for skiing and walking however, on the Verbo website, it lists two double rooms but actually there is only one. The other two are bunk rooms which was awkward with two couples. The Wi-Fi is quite weak and the non-stick pans need replacing. But the chalet is warm, comfortable and welcoming and the owner very responsive. Easy to access with good parking (except our bay was full of snow) so we parked in a visitor space of which there are several."

"This 'cosy' 4 bed is in a great location, and is perfectly comfortable and well furnished. Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. It is also not clear that there is no bedding included, which would cost the 3 of us €80. The value for money is still not too bad, but it would have been good to know about the charges when we were booking. The building's lift did...

Once you get your head around which door to come in and which lift to use it's all quite convenient. The flat itself is small (though described accurately on the website) but needs modernising. "Super apartment. Very convenient for anyone arriving via Prodains gondola (although if out of hours you need to walk across town to get keys). Apartment had plenty of space and was in good condition, although only half the bed linen was supplied. Great location for skiing with ski storage right next to post just above Tours lift. "

"Pierre is a great host and super helpful. Apartment is very close to ski runs (pretty much ski in ski out) and very close to Avoriaz Centre - restaurants, ski hire, supermarket, swimming pool. My family was 2 adults and 4 kids 8 - 15 and the apartment was comfortable for a week skiing!"

"Had to slept over the floor rather than the bed because this hotel has No air con under the weather with temperature above 35 degree. Next to one main drive way with bus stop downstairs,thus no way to open window and sleep because crazy noise. Management has no sense to proactively help guest under this extreme weather condition.
