Absolutely Perfect!
I read it to space to host a graduation party for my daughter. Kelly is an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and even helped during our event. We could not have asked for anything more and our stay and the graduation party were absolutely perfect. Thank you, Kelly. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, Peaceful Location & Home!
We used Prancing Horse Estates for a staff retreat and couldn't have been more pleased! The house was spotless and spacious and equipped with everything we needed. I was texted several times to ask if there was anything we needed. We spent a lot of meeting time outside in the pool and hot tub, which was fabulous. Even though we used it for our staff, it would make a fabulous vacation spot for a family. And the special touch was the complimentary bottle of wine, fresh farm eggs and honey! We'll definitely be going back!!

Amazing property with such lovely hosts
We had such an amazing time at Kelly's property. The house had absolutely everything we could need including an abundance of toys for my 3 year old and even things for my 5 month old. They even had golf clubs for my husband and father to enjoy a round of golf at a nearby golf course. Kelly was an exceptional host, from bringing us fresh eggs in the morning, & letting my son pet some chickens to giving us some great BBQ recommendations. The only issues we had we some minor communication problems. When we arrived we weren't yet given the gate code and had to wait a short amount of time until we could get in contact with Kelly and get the code. Another communication issue we had was one night trying to use the hot tub. It is controlled by Kelly and requires us to ask for it to be turned on (and off). And on this particular night Kelly was unreachable. However, the next morning a very apologetic Kelly made up for it with some mimosas. Again these were very minor issues in the grand scheme of things and didn't taint our view on how lovely this house, property and host are. If were ever back in the Houston area we will 100% be staying here again. Thank you Kelly!

They are accurate in that we do require a photo ID to be sent before we release the gate code, and the hot tub is on propane and controlled via wifi, so if I miss a text (first time) you do have to call me! That was entirely my fault, I am so sorry! Such wonderful guests to host, we highly recommend them :)

Perfect getaway
This property was the perfect place for us to host an engagement celebration. The home and surrounding property were both beautiful and functional. The pool, hot tub, and landscaping were well maintained and a perfect setting for our gathering. The host was so welcoming and helpful throughout the process. Perfect Get Away
Our family had an amazing week at Kelly’s home. The house was huge, so plenty of room to spread out. Everything was well decorated and we had every we needed. It was great having fresh eggs that Kelly delivered to our door. Lots of games and puzzles to keep us busy when it rained. We didn’t have really young kids but if you do there was a room just for them full of toys! The back yard with pool and spa was wonderful! So quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The property was as advertised—plenty of room for the family. The Master Suite had a nice sitting area, a huge bathroom with a tub, and a double-headed shower. The water pressure and temperature were the best. No worries about a cold shower here. They had a well-stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils, a toaster, a gas cooktop, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator making fresh ice. They even had a kids' room that I was jealous of—tons of toys and things our granddaughter could enjoy. The communication was the best and prompt. When we arrived, they were out of town in Canada and responded immediately to ensure everything was as it should be. They offered us eggs for the first morning, but we had already purchased some and took them up on the second day. They left us 13. We ate a few and I brought some home to enjoy. If we are ever up in the area again, this will be the first place I look for. I just cross my fingers that it isn't booked when we need it.

Perfect location for my daughter to enjoy a sweet 16 sleepover with her besties!
The house was perfect to accommodate two adults and 9 teens! They loved hanging out in the hot tub, walking the trails, and taking a polar bear plunge in the pool. We had lots of space and beds to accommodate everyone comfortably. The big couch and dining table were the perfect size to allow everyone a space to eat and hang out together. The host's communication was amazing and answered all of our questions! Thank you for sharing your amazing house with us!!!

Stunning property. My family of 20 people were easily able to have enough space to celebrate thanksgiving. A bunch of toys and games and outdoor space for the kids. Hot tub was great in the cold evenings for the adults. Didn’t use the pool but maybe when we come back in the Summer. Definitely a place is recommend for a staycation or people coming back him for the holidays. Property owner was always quick to respond to questions and requests.

Wedding weekend
This beautiful property was perfect for my son’s wedding weekend! We had my husband, myself and some of the out of town wedding party stay at the house. It was very convenient to our wedding location and rehearsal dinner. It was perfect for the younger kids that enjoyed the pool and toys while their Moms were getting ready for the wedding. I was so exhausted after the wedding and I was able to come home, shower, and have a wonderful nights sleep in the very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Since the bedrooms were spread out, I didn’t hear the kids when they woke up early. Kelly was very accommodating and I would definitely stay at this beautiful home again! Thank you Kelly! 😀❤️

LOVE THIS PLACE!
Where do I start?? This Private Estate on 10 acres was perfect for our girls weekend! We were looking for a nice house, pool/hot tub, and privacy and this checked all the boxes and more. Kelly was wonderful and questions were answered in minutes. She even left us a bottle of wine and delicious honey and beeswax for us to enjoy. The house was great - plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was the perfect size and there was even a bag of ice in the freezer which was a bonus! This house was decorated beautifully and one of the cleanest VRBO's I have ever stayed in. The pool and hot tub were used the entire time. We loved the acreage we were on - we even went down some fun little trails next to the house. We saw so many deer and even some baby fawn with spots. We will DEFINITELY return to this Private Estate!!!!

Beautiful house and property!
We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday with her 5 friends. We had a great time using the beautiful pool. The house is big and the setup was awesome to host a gathering with teenagers. The host was always available with any questions we had. She was super sweet and offered little gifts from their bee farm. We would definitely consider staying there again. It was in a great location, close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores but still experienced the country.

Family get together
Our entire family stayed in this fabulous home. Half the family traveled from Pa and the other half resides in Texas. Since August was our time table we enjoyed the beautiful pool. A Prancing House
Beautiful estate. Great pool. Very attentive owners that live on property. We had a friends weekend getaway that included a concert and a lot of time spent in the pool laughing. This beautiful home exceeded expectations and even kept cool with the 100+ degree temps in August Texas heat. We were all in the pool one day and Kelly, the owner, picked us up some more ice while they were out so we didn’t have to get out. They went above and beyond to give us the 5-star treatment. Highly recommend.

Family get-together to celebrate 80th birthday of mother/grandmother.
We found the house and grounds as expected. Loved viewing the deer in the morning, loved the pool. Loved all the different sitting areas. We found our hosts very accommodating. We really appreciate their kindness and thoughtfulness. Loved watching the Golden retrievers playing in their kiddie pool. It was very restful and we would definitely stay here again. Wonderful Family Trip
We flew down to Montgomery TX for my son's wedding and rented this house for the week. There were eight of us total (4 couples) and we each had our own room. The house is large, comfortable, impeccably clean and well-stocked. The pool/hot tub is TO-DIE-FOR! Pictures do none of it any justice. The best part of the trip was our interaction with Kelly and Ken. They are the most gracious and accommodating hosts. They brought us fresh eggs and honey, champagne for my son and his bride and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. I hope I have reason to return to the area again. This experience was amazing!

Kanisha and her family gathered for a small reunion and enjoyed the property- especially the pool! We enjoyed hosting them, although there were some small issues with spilled drinks etc that required carpet cleaning, our housekeeping staff is excellent and took care of it all. They communicated well and informed us of their extra guests in advance and paid for them promptly.

Amazing House!
This was my first time renting a vrbo. The 1st reservation the host cancelled 2 weeks before our trip for no reason. I found another vrbo and put in for the week we needed and host never responded. I was nervous to book again, however I needed something to stay in with less than 2 weeks to our vacation. I found the Prancing Horse Estate and our reservation was accepted immediately. It was an amazing vacation and matched everything that the listing stated. Kelly has thought of everything from a travel sewing kit to an entire walk-in closet with toys. My daughter (4 years old) loved going and playing in the “toy room” as she called it. She played on the scooters that were provided and loved seeing all the wildlife (lizards, deer, frogs, racoons, turtles, & horses). The pool and hot tub were amazing with all the provided pool toys. Town was not far away and had target and krogers. We had our elderly parents with us, and it was a little bit of a walk from the parking spot but they did not have any issues with it. It was also nice for them that everything was all on one floor. We had 7 people staying and we never felt like we were on top of each other. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Kelly was very responsive to all our questions and even kept us informed when a bad storm was rolling through the area. I would highly recommend the Prancing Horse Estate to anyone that is looking for a nice relaxing place to stay. I have to say that it has restored my faith in vrbo.

We could not be happier with our stay at the Prancing Horse! The hosts are fantastic people that respond to questions and requests promptly. Where else can you get farm fresh eggs delivered to your door? The property itself is awesome, woods, a stream and privacy. My grandsons were in the pool within 15 minutes of our arrival. We all enjoyed the hot tub daily. The house itself was amazing. The kitchen had everything you will need. Great restaraunts and donut shops were about 15 minutes away. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Thank you Kelly for sharing this piece of haven with my family. We of course would stay here again without any hesitation.

Extended Family Visit!
My family has been living overseas for the past 5 years and we finally were able to make it back to visit extended family. We were able to have my family of 7, brother in laws family of 3, and my mother in law all stay comfortably! Kelly was great with communication as we spoke before we made the reservation to ensure we could have a family BBQ for all the extended family in the area. While there all the kids LOVED the pool and the hot tub, and Kelly was very responsive to any of our questions. The complimentary wine was a nice addition as well as a cute little Easter basket of fresh eggs, local honey, and fresh herbs from the garden. We had an additional 12 guest for the bbq, all pre-approved, for a total of 33 and there was plenty of space as well as the pool being a hit among all the teens and kids. The view from the hot tub is unmatched of the grazing horses and we saw deer the last evening. The kids room was great with all the toys, my youngest loved the toys and dress up. We also thoroughly enjoyed the board games as a family. This truly a great vacation for the entire family because everything we needed was already there! We will definitely be staying again for our next visit!

My daughter got married at the Lodge at Mound Creek and this home was only 1/5 mile from the venue. The home is gorgeous, clean and decorated beautifully! The owner was so kind and attentive to our every need! We had complimentary wine and a sweet note when we arrived and the next morning a sweet little Easter basket filled with fresh eggs and fresh herbs. We felt extremely special and would recommend this home for an anytime family getaway or a great place for your wedding party to retreat after a long day! Just beautiful!!

Kelly was super response on all support requests (e.g. Kelly delivered additional provisions to support the cold spell and unblock a shower in hours of us asking). We have no reservations recommending this location to all that intend to treat it like their home. We will most definitely be staying here ourselves again!

Unfortunately, Jerin and his friends didn’t leave the property or the home in good condition, nor did they follow the house rules. We don’t allow parties of that type, and we communicate that all over our page. Therefore, we cannot recommend them to other hosts. They did enjoy themselves, lol.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Loved the gated privacy of the home! It had everything you needed and more. Kelly was a great host and we enjoyed the special personal touches of fresh eggs and a complimentary bottle of wine to help make our stay more enjoyable. The backyard is picturesque and relaxing as you sit by pool and hot tub. Thank you for making it a home away from home.

Beautiful Getaway close to Lake Conroe
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at this beautiful property! From the very start of trying to plan our last minute weekend getaway, Kelly was so helpful. We planned on bringing a boat so before we even booked with her she was very responsive via text answering our questions. Due to the layout of the gate and road we were unable to fit our 26' boat onto the property, but Kelly suggested leaving our truck and boat outside of the gate in a grassy area by the main road. While we were a little hesitant, the main road was pretty quiet and everything worked out. The house was beautiful and clean with more than enough room for our group of 5. Kelly has prepared the property with many amenities including fresh, organic eggs and a complimentary bottle of wine. There is a kid's room filled with toys and costumes to play dress up. The kids absolutely loved it. We spent a lot of time in the pool/hot tub and outside in general as the property has walking trails and an abundance of space. Kelly's home is next door to the rental property so she was in communication with me and checked on us throughout our stay. She was very sweet and helpful! We can't wait to try to come back next summer and hopefully stay longer.

This was a great family to host! We were so glad they could bring their boat to enjoy Lake Conroe ( 5 miles from the house). We love it when children get to enjoy all the fun toys, bikes and scooters! We so look forward to their return next summer-at the 20% repeat guest discount!

Fantastic Rental!
Our stay at Prancing Horse Estate was the BEST VRBO we have visited this year -- and we have been fortunate to stay at several VRBOs this year. First off, it is off the beaten path but not too far from local restaurants and stores. Upon entering, we could see and smell how clean the house was. The floors were IMMACULATE (and that means a LOT to parents of a crawling baby -- THANK YOU!!!!). The pool was extremely refreshing and VERY clean also. They provided a few floaties and pool toys that we were able to use. Our daughters LOVED the kid's bedroom!! There was a nice bonus of a variety of toys to entertain them while we stayed, too. I especially appreciated the music table (which our baby thoroughly enjoyed) and the Barbie house (which our older daughters played with immensely). Thank you for sharing such a LOVELY estate with us for the week. We look forward to a return stay soon!

Great Experience!
The house was perfect for our wedding weekend and hosting 22 for a rehearsal dinner (be sure to pay your $35 per head to visit). The grill was easy to use, and the pool was a welcomed respite to cool off and enjoy a lovely TX evening. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for a family of four and grandparents on the opposite side. When we arrived, we were met with fresh eggs and a bottle of wine. Be informed: directions are tricky. Visitors said Google Maps brought them right to the house; Waze & Mapquest struggled. FYI, you will need to be on Honea Egypt a short period of time to get to the house. Also, if you raise the umbrella poolside, be sure to put it back down when you step away. A light gust will cause it to turn over and potentially break (speaking from experience). We are on open land and a breeze can come up quickly--we learned the hard way! Kelly was great to help with a cooler, extra seating, and even an extra table from her own patio--all worked great for our guests. Overall a great experience!

We enjoyed having Tim and his family on-site, they were a great group and we even allowed a formal event here for them (though we do charge separately for events!). Apple Maps does bring you right here, and we added our location (Prancing Horse Estates) to Google Maps, as this family had issues with Mapquest. I can highly recommend this family to all hosts!
