The main floor is made of Brazilian cherry wood. The custom wood dining table seats at least 8. The house has forest and mountain views. There is high speed internet / wifi, and a new 43-inch smart TV. The basement has a washer dryer and room for bikes, gear, toys, etc.

The setting is idyllic and surrounded by forests, mountains and streams. The house is part of a small family friendly community of 70 homes sitting on 640 acres of land bordering State Forest at the foot of the Jay Peak at the top of Northern Vermont’s Green Mountain chain.

The location is incredible for outdoor enthusiasts in all seasons. There are private hiking / biking / running trails on the property. There is lovely community swimming pool, park, tennis court, frisbee golf, volleyball, etc. The trailheads for Vermont’s famous 273-mile Long Trail hiking trail and the Catamount Ski Trail are 2 miles up the road. Great Mountain Biking trails are close-by. Amazing fishing and classic Vermont swimming holes are close-by.

The house is 4 miles from the charming little town of Montgomery Center known for the many covered bridges in the area. There is a grocery store, some restaurants / cafés, a few stores including a bike and ski shop.
