Property was just okay, the surrounding area was nice besides the close cvs. rooms seemed nice and remodeled. for sure would stay here again just because it was worth the price. pool is not heated but that was not an issue for me as there were so many other things to do nearby. close proximity to many areas and also good free parking!

Heater air conditioner excellent. Towels small and only two bath towels. One small packet of shampoo for two each day (so we purchased our own)… kind of unusual. Good refrigerator (noisy) and had freezer. Good microwave. Overall acceptable but looked like tub had some mold needeing cleaning snd toilet seat was chipped a couple places on top. Icemaker and laundry facilities were excellent. This was car week so was more expensive than usual.

We have stayed at this property when it was Motel 6 and it was always just ok. We liked it because we could bring our dogs for free and it was close to a nice beach. This time, now Vagabond Inn, they charged us $25 per dog! When I was surprised I was told it is no longer Motel 6 and I should read the fine print. I still see nothing on the Expedia listing that shows a pet fee. The property was dirty, the room was very small with the beds against the wall and air conditioner. The bathroom plumbing was barely in place. No extras like hair dryer, microwave or refrigerator. Had a very difficult time connecting to the WiFi but it did finally work. I will be looking for a new motel for my next visit.

I chose this hotel for a weekend trip to visit the university, but I would not stay here again. The overall premises and our room were not clean at all. It was bad enough that I had to request a reclean from the receptionist, and I ended up buying my own sheets from a local store just to feel comfortable sleeping. The only saving grace was the staff—they were very kind and polite—but the hotel itself has a lot of work to do before it's truly guest-ready.
