The manager was so sweet and let us check in early, however, when the reservation was made, it specifically stated that we would be able to see the movie from our bed. As we were in room 114, in the middle of the complex, we couldn't see the screen from the bed, and had to move the chairs and table over to the right side of the room to see screen 1.

Fun property that you can watch drive in movie from your room. It’s a bit older and the bathroom was a little outdated but it’s very clean and the room was nice. Great staff as well.

Not at all as advertised, I stayed one night when I booked three. I was terrified the entire night and slept 0 minutes that evening. I felt unsafe and it was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

The clerk who checked us in had filthy hands and fingernails. The room seemed clean. The bathroom would be better if some time was given to replacing the dirty, sloppy caulking. The motel is located on the edge of town and our safety seemed questionable. We slept well and all went well but we did not want to get breakfast after seeing the dirty hands of the clerk.

Our annex building houses all of our pet friendly this allows us to be able to accept pets and still be respectful of other guest who may have pet allergies. I apologize the door did not lock We would have been able to change your room during your stay if you inform the front desk of the issue.

For a property built in the 1950's this isn't a bad place to stay. From the outside it looks a little run down but our room was relatively clean and modern. However, I booked our reservation for a King size room via Expedia and noted that we were traveling with 2 pets. When we arrived and notified the front desk that I did have 2 dogs with us, I was told that we couldn't have a King size room with pets. The front desk attendant was very accommodating and was able to give us a Queen size room in the annex. This would have been nice to be aware of in advance as I would have been able to look at other properties that would have allowed our pets in a King size room. When we arrived at our room in the annex (a building removed from the main property) we had some difficulty closing and locking the door. In order to get it to lock we had to lean on it and jiggle the lock. The room appeared to be cozy and clean, EXCEPT when entering the bathroom there were 2 USED towels hanging on the back of the door. There were still towels to use and the bed clearly had fresh sheets so we did not mention either issue until we checked out. Other than the above mentioned issues our stay was pleasant. The coffee available in the lobby was decent and the staff was very friendly. There was plenty of room to walk our dogs although beware of stickers in their paws. (High desert issues) It would have been nice since it is a "pet friendly" property to have some poop bags available (we forgot ours)

Staff was very helpful in checking me in early, to a room choice I wasn't able to specify through Expedia. Room was clean and bed/pillows were nice. Tub was a bit slow to drain, but usable for short showers. New LED sign out front was obnoxiously bright, leaking in around the blackout curtains; animated content had sudden brightness shifts, leading to flashing effect against nighttime walls and ceiling. A more thoughtful after dark program of lower brightness and more even intensity would be a welcome change.

Unfortunately, there was no hot water in our room. Then as we arrived for breakfast we were informed there was also no hot breakfast available. Thank God there wwlas coffee. Its a shame. Intetesting hotel but needs some work.

During the slow days less then 5 rooms we offer a cold breakfast but we do let you know when you come in that if you would like an omelet we would be happy to make one for you.

Our rooms are inspected after housekeeping cleans the rooms and rooms have not been dirty. I am sorry you were unhappy with your stay. We hope you can stay with us again soon. This was my second time at Movie Manor. It's a fun gimmick, having the drive-in theater viewable from the room, but the screen is pretty far away so you're not getting a real drive-in experience or anything. I love the layout of the room, though, with the beds in the back and the sink/toilet/shower in the entrance portion. The view of the mountains in the morning is great, too.

Great room apparently remodeled recently. Tub is plumbed backward with hot on right. Hot water is excessively hot.

This is an older style motel with a drive-in movie theater. We really enjoyed the movie. The staff was friendly and helpful. The motel needs new carpet and updating. The wash clothes were not clean and the towels were clean but stained. I would suggest they be replaces with new ones.

Best Western Movie Manor
I really enjoyed staying at the Movie Manor. The facility itself was very nice and service was great. My only problem was, the movie screen was pretty far away and couldn't read the subtitles of the movie. Most of the dialogue was in Italian and the screen was pretty dark. I'd stay again but would drive into the grounds instead of staying in my room.

The best part of the stay was being able to watch the drive in movie from your room. It is an older hotel though and the walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors quite easily just talking in their normal voices.

Fun novelty spot. Placement of beds made it a little difficult to see the movie. Sound was good. Subtitled movie probably not best choice to play. Rooms clean. Handy amenities. Friendly staff

Check your view from bed before the movies start.
We picked this hotel specifically because you can watch movies from your bed, or at least that's what they want you to think. We were told that any room that has a single bed you can lay in bed and watch the movie this was not the case for us. We stayed in room 212 and could not see the movie screen unless you sat at the window. The speaker in the room for the movie was on max and could barely hear it. Rooms are named after famous actors I think if the rooms were decorated in accordance with them it would tie the room together better. For example we were in Goldie Hawns room but not one picture or anything of her career. Just a painting of a whole bunch of actors at a drive in theater (which I understand) and another painting of some actors playing poker. Breakfast was good staff was great.

Beautiful location for the hotel. This was my first time experiencing watching a movie from the hotel room. Each room has an extensive view of the movie screen and in-room speakers for the audio. The experience was enjoyable. Good warm breakfast

Room 101 at Movie Manor
We missed some important information at check in. The draw of this hotel is the double, drive-in movie screens, showing current feature films each night. The guest chooses which movie to watch as films run simultaneously. However, sound for movie screen one is on speaker in the room; sound for movie screen two is by FM radio (this was the information we missed). Guests are welcome to drive in o4r watch the movies from the room. This is an interesting concept. If you plan on watching from the room, get one that is more toward the center of the complex. Our room was 101 - first floor of the building, closest to the hotel's breakfast room. We could not easily see screen two, and watching screen one was at an angle. The hotel is older. The windows had some paint flaking from water damage and there was a faint musty smell. The room was very clean (props to housekeeping) and the linen was in great condition. Sheets were super soft and the king sized bed was comfortable. Towels were good, hems intact and no damage, medium weight. The fridge was not on when we arrived so it took time to cool. Bathroom is really small, but full bath/shower, and fixtures showing age with loosening fittings, but overall good. Be aware that the grounds have stickers (sand burs) that will track in, catching in the carpet. Take off shoes at the entry prior to entering the room proper. The restaurant on the property was very good - staff was kind and efficient.

Unique place to stay
The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed being able to watch a movie from the comfort of my bed. There is a great Mexican restaurant right next door and the full breakfast was nice as well.

Very comfy rooms and beds. Staff was very friendly. Fun to watch the movie from our room. very nice breakfast. We played cards in the 'breakfast' room the night before. no elevator and the stairs need repair. other than that - a perfect fun place
