Find hotels in Mont-Ras from CA $67

The best area to stay in Mont-Ras is the residential areas immediately surrounding the town centre, particularly those offering villas or country homes.

This area provides a tranquil escape while still being conveniently located for exploring the wider Costa Brava region. It's characterised by spacious properties, often with private gardens and swimming pools, located amongst olive groves and vineyards. You'll find a good selection of quality holiday rentals here.

For families, staying in a villa just outside the central village is an excellent option. These properties offer ample space for everyone, private amenities like a pool, and a relaxed setting away from busier tourist hubs. It allows for a comfortable base to return to after day trips to nearby beaches like Calella de Palafrugell or Llafranc, which are only a short drive away.

Couples looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat will also appreciate the privacy and comfort of these larger homes.

The best time to visit Mont-Ras is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the local area and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find the Costa Brava region less crowded than in the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience.

For those looking to enjoy the region's natural beauty and hiking, spring is particularly good as the landscape is lush and green, and wildflowers are in bloom. The temperatures are comfortable for walking along coastal paths or visiting nearby medieval villages.

If your focus is on culinary experiences and vineyard tours, autumn is fantastic. This is harvest season, and many local wineries offer special events and tastings.
