"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."

"We had an amazing stay at Mme Sol’s house over Christmas. Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and fully equipped - everything has been thought of. Mme Sol and Mme Louchard checked in to make sure we were OK and provided advice and also bikes so we could travel to the village. We wished we could have stayed...

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"The house is just like in the photos, although they don’t really do it justice. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough of everything - from generous size mugs to plates and outdoor chairs. The house was lovely and cool inside, even though it was fairly hot outside. "Great location, lots to do on the site and locally. Really peaceful site. Swimming pool was great! Not brilliant communication for the organised activities so we missed them all, but had so much to do it was excellent anyway. Very useful having electric car charging on site. "Our stay was good and comfortable. We arrived late (just after 9pm) the restaurant was closed so we couldn't order food, only 'tapas' was available, deep fried frozen food which was horrible! Buffet breakfast was good. You have to collect a hairdryer from reception if you need one so best to do that before you go to your room."
