The best time to visit Mohembo West is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, the weather is generally sunny with little to no rain, making it ideal for wildlife viewing. The lower water levels in the Okavango Delta mean animals congregate around the remaining water sources, making them easier to spot. This period also offers comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20-30°C during the day.For travellers keen on a classic safari experience with excellent chances of seeing a wide variety of wildlife, particularly elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species, the dry season is perfect. The clear skies are also fantastic for photography. If you're interested in birdwatching, the shoulder months of April and November, just before and after the peak dry season, can also be rewarding. Many migratory birds are present then, and the landscape is still quite green.
