Best VBRO We've Ever Stayed In

We travel frequently and this location and hosts are the best. It was easy to get anywhere in Vancouver. The hosts gave us great tips and are the nicest people you will ever meet. Amazing!!

Very comfy and convenient stay

This place is an incredible suite, very comfortable, clean, quiet and safe place to stay. The hosts are lovely and caring, making sure we were comfortable and have everything we need. The photos listed are very accurate to the place and location is very conviennent, close to town and close to many public transportations. Very easy to check in and to communicate with hosts. Will stay here again!!

Nice modern rental

The property is new and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and accomodating. It is well located in the Lynn Valley neighborhoods. Worked really well for my wife and I.

I didn’t know it’s in the basement and park on a street. Couldn’t figure out how to ventilate inside. Otherwise is clean and beautiful, lots of space . Would book again

North Vancouver Cute Suite

Very impressed with this property. It was perfect for our needs, with everything required for a stay away from home. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. The accommodation was immaculately presented and very clean. The hosts were very approachable and great that they were on-site for any emergency. Luckily we did not need to contact them for anything, but it was good to know that they were there. We loved the Lynn Valley area, it felt very safe, with lots of amenities nearby. Parking was fine, just be aware of the local parking rules. The check in process was seamless, as everything was explained in advance by the hosts. Great wifi and liked the secure front door locking system. As this is a basement suite, there is nowhere to sit out and soak up some sun or eat outside, so be mindful of this if that is something you like to do.

Top notch property in quiet location

We liked staying in this suite a lot, it has everything that you need every day. All is very fresh and new in very quiet and peaceful hilly place, all appliances are also new, we enjoyed our stay, were pleasantly surprised by heated floors. Hosts are very friendly, attentive and generous people. Need to mention the suite is downstairs (in the basement) which I didn't see in description (although I should have guessed it by looking pictures with window without any view). While we have kids and tolerant to walking/running/furniture noise upstairs, some may not be. Listing has 1 full and 1 half bath which is incorrect - it's only 1 full bath. Parking against the lot is usually occupied, but there's no issue to park near by neighbors lots. What I would do is to add a water scrubber for bathroom, also raise the rack over the toilet - now it blocks the lid from staying up.

Great location! Very close to both the Capilano suspension bridge and the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, plus an easy drive up to Squamish for the Sea to Sky Gondola (definitely recommend!).The basement suite was large with 2 rooms. Good place to sleep while exploring the area.

My husband and I visited North Vancouver to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We had previously lived in the Lynn Valley area and we were thrilled to find this nice, out of the way quiet neighborhood that was close to where we had previously lived. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance from the Lynn Valley Mall, and a short drive to The Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge, and hiking trails. It was a great location and just a short drive to either the mountains, Ferry terminal and the Sea Bus to downtown. The accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable. And the owners were very polite and responsive to the few questions we had.

Great stay, we had a screw up as we thought we had 2 nites but only had the 1 nite. Totally my fault, thanks to the cleaning staff for putting our stuff together for us. Top notch!

The space was updated and clean. The bathroom was great but the button to turn on the fan was unreachable. The owner was helpful and courteous. It appeared to have windows in the pictures but the blinds would not work on the two windows that were in the bedrooms. For two old woman who love the sunlight it felt very bunker like. We were gone most of the day but when we returned in the evening the loveseat did not feel big enough to sit and relaxed. We each ended up reading books in bed every night because of the seating.

Wonderful hostess!

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The hostess was very accommodating and responded immediately to all requests. It is in a residential area and street parking was a little tight, but nothing they could really do about that. We would definitely go back.

Walkway is a little steep, then stairs, normally would be no problem, wife broke her foot days before arrival and was on crutches made it a little tougher. Nice size suite newer, quiet location.

The unit was clean, spacious and well appointed. All appliances were modern and good quality. Beds were comfy and warm. The location is quiet, so easy to get a good night’s sleep. About the only downside was the limited parking opportunities on the street immediately outside.

The property owners were very friendly and accessible, as they lived on top floor of the rental unit. Upon arrival, the water heater was out, and after long hours traveling, we had to take cold shower. We also had to request extra TP, paper towel, coffee, as they had mentioned was part of the rental. The least I would expect was a bit of refund for this inconvenience. We also found out quickly; by renting the unit in the basement of their house, we heard their footsteps every time they were awake and walked through the floors. The only time we could get rest was when they went to sleep. As nice as the owners were, I would not stay there again, as I need my sleep.
