The restaurant was charming, with delicious food and we even had a group of excellent musicians with authentic Greek dancers in costume. Anther bonus - it was a 15 minu LP te drive to the airport. "The staff were great and doing their best, but the place is just rundown and not well-maintained. Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working so they moved us rooms and the second one wasn’t working very well either. The pool and pool bar area are wonderful and right on the beach, but they close at 6 PM- really don’t understand that when it’s one of the nicest aspects of the place. Our goal was to visit the Knossos palace and catch our morning ferry- if we had to do it again, we would stay in downtown Heracleon."
