Welcome to 'Southern Comfort' all new facelift for 2025, paint, lighting furniture all new.( For Snowbird contact Bill 575-799-6074) One block from our beach, this spacious upgraded, one-level home is located in the quiet, private, and gated neighborhood of 'Paradise Retreat'. Including a new 6-passenger golf cart, Featuring a private fiberglass pool, with above ground Hot tub under a screened-in patio, great for outside entertaining or on rainy days. Private beach with two beach access (Beach Service with two chairs and an umbrella are included from March 1 to Oct 31, on the private beach ) This home has northern exposure, so in the evening, you will have relaxing shade in the backyard. If booked try my other property VRBO # 2199103\. NO pets or parties allowed. You will receive a rental agreement prior to arrival. You must have a valid diver's license and fill out golf cart waver at arrival.  
Please include correct number of guests when booking.

Updated throughout to reflect the beach atmosphere will get you into vacation mode. This home has granite counters in the kitchen and bathrooms, with stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The fiberglass pool (no scraping skin) is equipped with a new salt generator (No burning eyes) and a new sand filter with a new extra-large pool heater.  
  
Every bedroom has an HDTV. The master suite has a king bed, Bedroom 2, has a king bed, Bedroom 3, has a queen bed and the 4th bedroom has bunks, a twin upper bed, full bottom with a twin trundle pull out.  
  
Southern Comfort is within walking distance of our white sugar beach, (About 400 yards 10-minute walk) from the Emerald Coast. Walk along the beach to watch the Sunrise or Sunset. Complimentary beach service is included during peak season and for your convenience, 2 beach chairs and an umbrella have already been reserved for you on the private beach just steps away. There are eight bicycles, Five adult, and four children, with bike parking inside the private beach entry. An air compressor, ping pong table, beach toys, and wagon are supplied in the two-car garage. You can also rent paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, or para-sail.  
  
After a day at the beach enjoy the open floorplan living area while watching the 55-inch large-screen HDTV with a DVD player, or sit in the screened porch and enjoy the hot tub. A gas grill is provided with an extra tank, for cooking out poolside. \*($330.00 per week to heat the pool)   
  
 High-speed Wi-Fi Internet included.  
  
Beach restaurants, Captain Dave's Seafood, Kenny D's, and Pompano Joe's restaurants are within walking distance with many restaurants of all types just a short distance away.  
  
For those who want to shop Southern Comfort is located close to Silver Sands Outlet Mall which is a vacation in its own right. Shoppers have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike, and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.   
  
More great shopping can be found at Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, & Maui Nix Surf Shop to name a few. Stop for a bite to eat at Panera Bread, Chipotle, Red Brick Pizza, Zoe's Kitchen, or one of the other restaurants on site.  
  
More than just shopping the Destin Commons Center Plaza offers a soft-play kids' playground and a 49-head pop fountain. Community activities and entertainment are held throughout the year at Destin Commons. Visit AMC Destin Commons to catch the latest releases.   
  
Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, offers wonderful dining and specialty stores as well as great festivals & events that are held at the Market Shops Green or the Center Plaza within the Village.   
  
Grand Boulevard offers stores such as Billabong, Brooks Brothers Country Club, J. Crew-at-the-beach, Sunglass Hut, & Tommy Bahama's Emporium as well as great dining at Tommy Bahama's, as well as great dining at Tommy Bahama’s, Flemings Prime Steak House, PF. Changs, Travinia Italian & Mitchell’s Fish Market. There is also a Boulevard 10 Cinema.

Big Kahunas waterpark is a short drive and has numerous water slides and a lazy river, or visit The Track where mini-golf, water bumper boats, go-karts, and bungee jumping can be enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bills house. The location was great. We used the golf cart daily to go restaurants, stores and the beach. Everything we needed was there or he was willing to bring it to us. The only downfall was the hot tub broke the first day we got there so we could not use it our entire stay. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

#### Great house with pool and hot tub.

The house and property are well cared for and maintained. The beds were comfortable. The furniture is in great shape. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. There are pool towels provided. The bicycles are in great working order. Great communication from the property owner (which is a nice change from dealing with business owned properties). Having the 6-person golf cart was wonderful. It was nice to use the golf cart to get to the beach and also to drive down the the road in the evening.

Perfect getaway home!! Very spacious, we had a group of 10 (all different ages) & it was perfect for everyone! Plenty of amenities & ideal location! Bill was the greatest host, he even gave us a tour on the complimentary golf cart when we first arrived. The private beach with chairs & an umbrella were very useful & we loved the beach there. Highly recommend!

#### Fantastic Graduation Trip

We just finished a fantastic trip to celebrate our son's graduation from college with family and a few of his college friends. The home was perfect, clean and well appointed, with plenty of room for all 8 adults. Having a pool/hot tub was amazing after the day of golfing, fishing or beaching. Location was perfect and the golf cart was super helpful getting all the "stuff" to/from the beach. Bill was a super responsive host to any needs/questions. Great time was had by all!

Property was wonderful and the amenities provided were an added bonus. Having a golf cart to take back and forth to the beach with all the beach items made things so much easier, and having the 2 reserved beach chairs was another added bonus. The property was very clean and well equipped!Bill was an excellent host! He provided valuable information once we were settled in about the house and the surrounding area even making himself available to take us around and point out some attractions on the golf cart. He was available for any questions via text and always responded very quickly. Top notch host and property. We certainly hope to visit again!Thank you Bill for a wonderful week!

#### Perfect beach getaway 

We had an amazing family vacation at this house. It was everything we wanted and more for a relaxing beach trip. The golf cart was perfect for getting to the beach and back. We enjoyed having the beach set up each day. It made relaxing a breeze. The pool and hot tub were perfect for keeping the kids entertained while we did some grilling. The house is close to shopping, food, and many other attractions. The house is well maintained and very clean. Bill is great at communicating and takes pride in his rentals. Thank you for having us! We had an amazing time making memories.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our first family vacation to Florida. Bill has thought of absolutely everything. We loved Bill home. Bill was very nice, he reached out 2 hours before our check in to let us know the house was ready, he gave us all the instructions needed for the house, golf cart, jacuzzi. You can definitely see Bill ability as a host. The home has everything you need from beach towels to all kitchen appliances and needs. The home layout is wonderful and well divided. My family and kids love everything about, This is a gated community which we loved. We have stood in this area before we love. The golf cart is a plus as we went to beach several days. As a guest Bill makes it very easy also to check out with minimal requirements. We definitely will be back.

we had a great stay on our trip, Bill came to the property and gave us several good recommendations on what to do and where to go as well as a rundown of the property pool and hot tub. we normally stay on the beach, but on this trip, we tried something different and off the beach but with private beach access, and it was a great choice! the golf cart made it ease with close parking that was always available. the golf cart was also great for evening beach front drives. we loved it and will be going back!

Our family had an amazing vacation at Bill’s place! The house was perfect for us, with everything we needed and more. Bill was an incredible host, always responsive and helpful. We loved the extra touches like the beach toys, chairs, pool toys, bikes, and more. The house was spotless and we were able to settle in right away. We can’t say enough good things about our stay and would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised, clean and well maintained. We loved having the golf cart and used it for daily trips to the beach, to restaurants, and nightly cruising of the beach highway. Bill was an attentive host, even stopping by the morning after our arrival to give us a quick orientation.

He was great for my family of three small children! It was big enough that we all had room and close enough to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and not a lot of traffic. We took the golf cart to the beach and the grocery store frequently it’s not far. Bill is a great host! He made sure we had everything we need and we were comfortable! Will definitely be visiting again!

#### A Vacation We Won’t Forget

There are so many good things about this property that I don’t even know where to begin. Bill was an amazing host. Anytime I needed anything, he responded very quickly and went above and beyond, out of his way to make sure our stay was incredible. The neighborhood was located in a perfect spot. The neighbors were very friendly. The kitchen was equipped with more than we could imagine. We could have easily walked to the beach, but the golf cart made it so much easier. The beach was beautiful. The giant TVs were awesome for when we just wanted to relax! There were a ton of food and shopping places within a couple miles of the house. Our family definitely made memories that we will not forget. We can’t wait to come back to the area and get another opportunity to rent out this house. If I could give it more stars, I would!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this location. The home is gorgeous and spacious for a large family. We appreciated that the home was stocked with kid friendly items such as oack and play stroller, bikes, and plenty of beach toys! The private beach acess was nice, it was never very crowded. We also enjoyed having a pool and hotub at the house to enjoy as a family. Bill was an amazing host and very responsive to questions and things that came up through the week. We also appreciated the orientation and little tour he gave us upon arrival

We cannot say enough. Hands down, best rental property we EVER stayed in. Whistle clean. Bill is incredible. So kind and easy to chat with. Answered every question ASAP, and was so willing to help us the whole trip. We even stayed an extra night that came available and it was AWESOME. The golf cart is so convenient and the kids loved the pool so bad. 6 out of 5 stars, will absolutely stay again in a Bill property!!!!
