Also, the downstairs bathroom had no bath mats and the tile was extremely slippery when showering. « Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. « We stayed at a cabin in the Pocono Mountains and the location is the highlight—quiet, private, and a great area. The sauna and hot tub were nice features and added to the stay.That said, the property needs significant maintenance. There are multiple safety and structural concerns, including an uneven deck that appears to be pulling away from the house, a balcony showing signs of rot, and steeply poured concrete steps.
