This charming one-level house, located on the public side of Lake Anna, is on a deep-water cove with views that go on for miles! Enjoy the updated kitchen with all new appliances for 2021, with the many extras, including granite countertops, tiled backsplash, a gas fireplace, and a screened porch. You'll have a natural wooded lot and a lakefront location - deep water (20 feet) at the dock. Light up a fire in the fire pit and enjoy the stars. There's an impressive boathouse swim ladder, upper sun deck, new gazebo, storage, reclining lounge chairs, and a mini-fridge. Spend your evenings having dinner on the back porch with a sunning area and an outdoor shower, kayaks, paddle board, water toys, and life jackets are supplied for your water adventures.

Additional amenities include free WiFi, Netflix streaming, a Sonos sound system, a foosball table, a card/game table, age-appropriate games for younger guests, an outdoor shower, a hammock, and a child safety gate on the outdoor porch.

All drivers of a motorized watercraft must have a Virginia Boater Safety License.
Please be aware that although this rental does not allow animals, the owners do bring theirs into the home. Any guests with severe allergies may want to choose a different home.
A harmful algae bloom may be impacting the lake in this area. Please contact Vacasa for more info.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great stay!

Plenty of space for our group of 10! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the boats, although I would recommend swimsuits or a change of clothes for the kiddie boats. The kitchen was well stocked and any questions we had were answered promptly. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing!

An extremely comfortable and beautiful place with incredible water views (even better if a couple of select trees were cut down :), but the trees and surroundings otherwise add to the ambiance! Everything was perfect. We did lose power, but the winds got really crazy! We went out to eat and the power was back in when we returned. Everything was clean and the rental process was easy! Look forward to returning!

Perfect Weekend

Dragonfly Cove is our new favorite place to rent for our yearly girls weekend! It was cozy and beautifully decorated, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We loved the set up, outside areas including the awesome covered deck down by the water and the screened in porch for morning coffee. The beds were so comfy, we slept later than planned! The built in speaker systems in the kitchen, tv room and deck were an awesome surprise and easy to access. We are already planning to rent It again next year, It was the perfect size and atmosphere for our get away.

A perfect summer getaway. The house is just amazing and the little cove is quiet and lovely. We really enjoyed everything there except the intermittent Internet (two of us has some work meetings), but for a vacation it is just perfect.

Perfect Lakehouse!

This house was perfect for us - 5 adults and 5 kids (age 4-12). House was exactly as advertised, the wifi was not great (as reviewers noted), but it served our purposes. Very clean, excellent kitchen, and the layout was great. The rooms are in the four corners of the house, so it was great for kids who needed to sleep earlier. Appliances were pretty new, very nice grill and toaster and fridge, kitchen had sufficient utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. (but note there's no cooking oil, condiments, etc.). Nice washer and dryer - note they give you one laundry tablet per day and no dryer sheets. Fully stocked bathrooms (towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap). A few steps down to the dock and there were more than enough life vests and canoes and floating devices for all of us. The water was super temperature friendly (July), we just swam and boated around in the lake for hours everyday. It's a pretty private area, great view of the sunset from the lake. There's not too much "town" nearby the house, so I highly recommend you bring enough food to last you while you're here, and you won't even need to leave the house.

Beautiful lake home

What a lovely home! Beautifully furnished, lots of space, brand new kitchen; deck, screened porch, lovely deck/gazebo on dock - this is a great find. Gas fireplace was used daily, lots of games and dvd's, Sonos system, firepit, comfy beds, gas grill - there are even nightlights! Owners provided bed linens and towels, soaps and detergents. This home has been very thoughtfully prepared for guests. Thanks for your attention to almost every detail.

Beautiful lake house

Beautiful house with lots of amenities. The kids and adults had a great time jumping off the top deck into the lake. Everything was as listed and when I had questions they were very responsive in getting back to me. Convenient location too when we rented a jet ski to pick up riders. 10/10 would stay here again.

Beautiful home!

This house is absolutely beautiful. The moment we opened the door we were blown away by its beauty. We had some hiccups though. The internet in the house is terrible. I didn’t mind not having it but the kids couldn’t even watch the smart TV in the tv room as the network it was connected to was horribly slow. To add to the misery we were given a different network and password to connect to which wouldn’t let us connect to the Sonos system. I had a hard time communicating with the property manager. She didn’t know why the Sonos would not connect. I don’t know why she was not informed properly by the owners. We also had one more issue. The master bedroom said it had a king bed but it was actually 2 twin mattresses put together. That made sleeping hard at night because of the separation in the middle. Nevertheless the room had beautiful views of lake Anna. I would go back to the same house but something needs to be done about the internet. If you are planning to work from home away then this might not be the best house to pick.

It's all about that VIEW

We had a wonderful time here despite the rain we experienced during the entire visit (boo!). The property was beautiful and even with the storms, it was lovely to look out at the water from the living/dining/kitchen area, bedroom, and the screened in porch. The only disappointing parts of the property were the proximity to neighbors -- it didn't feel terribly private and even less so with a new construction next door --, some lack of personality and "cute" items that you might see from a rental (bottle of wine, some cute basic smore pack or wood for the outdoor fire pit), and some lack of instructions and intro to the property (we finally figured out the fireplace after a lot of issues). It was nearby a few different vineyards which was wonderfully relaxing and also quite close to a supermarket which was convenient for grabbing a few items for dinner we forgot (including olive oil!). But I honestly could have just stayed on the property and had plenty to do, even with the rain: there were puzzles, games, some FANTASTIC audio in the TV room (Sonos everything), and again, just staring at the view. We did have some (relatively minor) cleanliness issues which was a bit disappointing given the cleaning fees and the fact that this property is managed by a professional company. The house itself had some mildew (some to be expected given the area), but the equipment for the grill was also quite dirty and the toilets seemed like they had been only halfway cleaned. Despite that, we'd definitely love to come back when the warmer weather is here!

Great house

We love the house, it has everything, the dock is great! The house is spacious. The only downfall was the WiFi was on a timer and it would not work from 6pm onwards until morning time, we can send text but can’t make a phone call for emergencies. No Netflix no YouTube no zoom for work.

Relaxing getaway

We had planned a trip to the beach and with COVID we needed to change our plans. We decided on a lake house. This was our first time enjoying time at a lake together. We loved the location, the lake and the house. With two adult couples, the set up was perfect. The amenities were fantastic as we cooked all but one meal. We were there to relax and enjoy some downtime from our busy lives. Our only complaint was around television and the internet. The TV was not in the main area and we all enjoy watching TV while some of us are cooking. We ended up being in two rooms. Also, the channel selection on TV was not good. We watched using Amazon prime and Netflix so that worked. It may have been our group but our internet was pretty slow. Our ratings are still all “5”s as the house was exactly what we hoped for.

Peaceful, Relaxing and Great Lake Home

Our family just came back from a 4 night stay at Dragonfly Cove and loved it. The home was clean with plenty of places to spread out for alone time and lots of places to gather as a family. We enjoyed trying the stand up paddleboard and riding the "waves" in the cove made by the passing motor boats and jet skis. The covered screened in porch was a great place for lunch.
