This family-friendly home in Mineral Bluff, GA is the perfect home for your next vacation. With a saltwater heated pool (mid -April to mid-October) , hot tub, fire pit, and basketball court, this cabin is ideal for splashing around and having fun with your loved ones. Just remember to bring your own basketballs and pool noodles! This cabin offers 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The master bedroom suite on the main floor features a king-size bed and its own en suite bathroom. The fully stocked kitchen and dining room table with seating for 6 provide everything you need to make a family meal, and the living room is perfect for movie or game night. All TVs are smart TVs with Rokus, so you can log in and watch your favorite shows. Enjoy the seasonal mountain views from the covered porch off the living room, and bring your furry friends along for the trip with an additional pet fee of $100\. We have easy check-in and check-out procedures, and there's no need to worry about a long list of chores – just run the dishwasher and place trash in the outside bins. Please note that the driveway to the cabin is steep and could be difficult in times of snow, and there may be some road noise from the nearby Mineral Bluff highway. We do have neighbors on all sides of the property, so please be courteous with noise levels. We also have chickens who may wander into the yard, so kindly tell them to go back home if they do. The heated pool is open year-round, but our swim season is typically late April thru October, we cannot guarantee this because it is weather dependent. The pool depth is deepest at 4.5 feet and 3.5 feet in the shallower end near the entry steps, and the pool size is approximately 18 feet by 6 feet. Please bring your own pool toys to enjoy. We suggest obtaining traveler's insurance if you're concerned about weather conditions, as no refunds can be given in the event of inclement weather. Poolside Ridge Cabin is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from McCaysville, GA, and Copperhill, TN, and less than 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, GA. The north GA mountains are a great place to explore, with numerous hiking trails and waterfalls to discover. POOL FAQ! \*\*\*The heated pool which is open year round but the heater cannot operate if it is below 50 degrees outside, so our typical swim season is Late April thru October but this is weather dependent. The pool heater shuts off in the ambient temperature is below 50 degrees. We do suggest obtaining travelers insurance if you concerned about weather impacting your trip as no refunds can be giving in the event of poor or cold weather conditions. \*\*\* The water level needs to be at the level above the skimmers or it will not filter or heat properly. Positives: convenience to local spots. Pool was hot in November. Plenty of parking. Lots of finishing touches: hooks for towels by the pool, some toiletries, some cleaning products, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, and more. Negatives: the property is right off a fairly busy road so you can hear that traffic at all times. Only seating for 4 at a table which is in the pictures, I just overlooked that. Check out is at 10\. I’m sure the hostess would work with you if you need a later check out. We just didn’t notice it until it was unreasonable for us to ask for a late checkout. Suggestions: a cheap leaf blower would’ve come in handy. With all the leaves falling and not being familiar with the driveway, we had some minor difficulty navigating the driveway. We were greeted with a snack basket, which was SO thoughtful - birthday boy thought it was left just for him! The pool was supposed to be heated with weather 50 degrees and above but it was FREEZING so that was a little disappointing but we just used the hot tub. I think adding a game system somewhere would be really nice. The road noise from the highway was a little louder during the day but not as many cars over night so that was good. My largest complaint is regarding cleanliness - the sheets were super cheap so there were different colored hairs from previous guest all over them and no other linens on the property to change out. We slept on top of the beds with blankets. Then the master tub has jets that had mold all over them. Also, the listed stated it sleeps 6 but it has a trundle bed so could sleep more. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were very comfortful. The host was attentive and corrected any issues we had. Only feedback would be replace every bedframe in the house the squeaking was horrible and woke all of us up. Master bedroom one was so loud the guest staying in the room below could hear every move. The ones down stairs were just as bad. Purchase cookie trays. ##### Claude M. Clean, up to date, accommodating and check in and out process were very simple. The jacuzzi was clean and sat all 6 of us. All of the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, pans, etc. We will definitely be back and hope to get to enjoy the heated pool next time! It was just too cold this time around. ##### Kayla C. We had perfect timing for the fall leaves, so the color around the house was beautiful. The stove needs to be replaced, the beds look great but are very uncomfortable, could use some new bakeware, a can opener and we would have loved to use the heated pool but the heat was not on and ready for us. There are a lot of old floats, probably left by other guests, that just looks like they could be thrown away. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay..
