Nestled high in the treetops on the side of Watson Mountain, this spacious, beautifully appointed Mineral Bluff home features three levels of covered and open decks. The huge wrap-around main deck has comfortable lounging and dining areas, a gas grill and porch swing, with plenty of space to spread out while basking in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy the beautiful morning sunrises, and relax in the evenings in the six person hot tub as the stars and moon shine above the mountains. Step inside the 3000 sf High Life Cabin to the bright, airy living room with a wood burning fireplace, comfy leather furniture, a 50” Smart TV with Dish Satellite and great Polk surround sound stereo. The open floor plan features a sparkling gourmet kitchen with every convenience, and a pleasant dining area. The queen guest room has a fun fishing theme, a private entrance and deck. There is a full bath and full size laundry on this main floor. WiFi signal is strong throughout the entire property. Every window and deck looks out upon the peaceful forests and mountains, without a neighbor in sight! Up the grand log staircase you will find a lovely loft sitting area with a futon sleeper sofa and writing desk. Discover the cute little “Kid's Nook” secret play spot and the sweet covered deck at the very top of the cabin called “The Crow's Nest,” with more spectacular views. The luxurious primary bedroom here has an extravagant log bed fit for a King, a flat screen TV, ensuite bathroom, and a pretty private deck. Wander to the lower level of this artful cabin to the “Down Below” (Yo Ho Ho!) —the super fun game room that features a nautical Pirate flair! Here you can challenge your friends at the Tornado Elite Foosball table, play an exciting game of Sjoelbak, (Dutch Shuffleboard), or enjoy the many games, cards, puzzles, art supplies & coloring books provided for all ages. Pour your favorite beverage at the wet bar and watch Netflix on the 50” Roku TV, or stream your own music on the awesome stereo. Another cozy queen guest room and full bath are on this level. Walk outside to the big deck and patio area to play a Corn Hole tourney, or have an evening campfire under the starry skies! The marvelous High Life Cabin is located about 20 minutes from the charming mountain towns of Blue Ridge, McCaysville/Copperhill, and Murphy, NC. A short drive will take you to Lake Blue Ridge, Hiwassee Lake, or to Lake Nottely for swimming, boating, and fishing. Thrilling whitewater rafting adventures on the Ocoee River, and tubing, canoe, or kayak trips on the Toccoa River are all nearby. Excellent hiking trails in the gorgeous natural areas abound, and there are numerous scenic drives and stunning waterfalls to visit in the area. The High Life is calling you! This was the first time we have rented 'The High Life' and we already re-booked for next year before the trip ended. The views are unlike any other place we've stayed, it's peaceful and quiet, yet a 20-ish minute ride to town. We saw multiple deer, turkeys, and birds (thanks to the feeder on the porch). The home is well-stocked and so cozy. The driveway is steep, but doable and worth the privacy/views you get at the top. Cannot wait until November 2024 to be back! ##### Michelle T. So much more than the pictures describe. Beautiful cabin among the tops of the mountains with plenty of space for a large family. Bedrooms on each floor with their own balconies with everything you need and more for your stay. The owners left a note and a bottle of wine for our arrival which was a special touch. We enjoyed the sunrises in the mornings, the hot tub at night and the time we got to spend together relaxing. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful cabin. And boy, was that driveway a fun ride up for everyone. LOL We cannot wait to return!!! :) ##### Tiffany F. The house has everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and fire pit were a hit. Fast internet for a group. Private with gorgeous views! Check-in was easy and there were no issues of any kind with the cabin. Location was convenient to all of the area attractions we wanted to see. The driveway was very steep, so be prepared for that...
