"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Clean and practical and overall quiet area with plenty of free parking. Breakfast quality good."

"The apartment was nice and spacious. However only two towels were provided for 4 people, upon asking for more we received back a message to say there was more in the cupboard unfolded. These towels were dirty with stains on them. The apartment was quite dusty and bathrooms were not the cleanest, the owner of the property explained the cleaners were busy however offered no apology. Upstairs noises all night, and had to shut windows as outside traffic and noise from neighbours. "

"One of the most unforgettable experiences lately, room was newly renovated, very comfortable and had an amazing view to the college courtyard. Breakfast was way better than the ones in 4-star London hotels and the breakfast room is like out of Harry Potter books. Big thanks to the staff and Jesus college. They truly took us to our good old college times."

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "
