"The hotel is very nice...nice restaurant.. excellent breakfast..easy parking and good value for money..as we took a small dog with us we were placed in a double room in an annexe of the hotel..the first room smelt of damp and clearly needed renovation but after complaining we were given a much better room albeit in the same annexe. .. "Staff were helpful and great to talk to, and parking was convenient. Actual hotel is a bit of a walk from town centre, so bear that in mind (there is a bus stop within a 5min walk). On the other hand the area was nice and quiet (although I did stay outside of the academic year). Also this hotel has communal kitchens on each floor where you can cook and store leftovers, but there is no restaurant, although the Halifax Hall nearby does if you need a meal."
