We had such an amazing stay! I'm so grateful to our host - he honestly cares about the comfort of his guests. We booked for a small family gathering of 6 people over Thanksgiving, so we hoped for a nice kitchen and gathering space for everyone to be together. The house was spotless with large comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and strong internet. But, 3 things stood out as especially great. 1) The open kitchen and dining space - fully stocked with absolutely everything you need - there is no kitchen implement this home doesn't have and there's plenty of seating for folks to gather; 2) The awesome patio/outdoor space - with a brand new grill and fire pit; 3) the location - you get the peaceful countryside hills, but you are only a 5 min drive from Safeway and the cute little town. All these things were only outdone by the hospitality. If you will be in Middleburg, you can trust this property will deliver 100%. Thanks again, Woods!

This rental was quite a find! I had several questions before our stay, and Woods was very quick to respond and was very accommodating. We had a group of 4 adult females from 54-80 years old. The rental is quite large, which you can't easily see from the photos. It's a splendid space to enjoy and spread out. The grounds are gorgeous and back up to the racing grounds... we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a race going on, right from the fence at the edge of the property! When I say this rental is well-stocked, it's an understatement! Woods has got towels, bedding and pillows, cleaning supplies, tissue and tp galore. The kitchen is more than well-appointed; you will not want for much of anything during your stay. He even offered (and we took him up on it) some farm fresh eggs. There is a lovely, larger property right next door, also for rent. It took us less than 5 minutes to arrive into town, so it was a perfect location. I can't say enough about this beautiful place and accommodating host. I recommend without hesitation.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances out of the control of host, we had a slight communication issue during our stay, but host followed up as soon as possible. Lack of power and water was a bit inconvenient, but again- Nature was in charge for a bit.Would highly recommend this property!
