"When I checked in I was told they were renovating and were fully booked. They never should have taken my reservation. I said I would go elsewhere, but they insisted they would give me a room. Only one lamp and the bathroom light worked. Light over the sink was not working. Microwave not plugged in and no outlet for it unless the fridge was unplugged. No hair dryer in room. Asked for one numerous times and was finally given one. If I had to hear they were renovating one more time I was going to scream. Due to a change in schedule I was going to add an additional night, but after waiting too long to do so, I went elsewhere."

"I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in 2024 to early 2025 and would have at that time given it a decent review. This stay however the property and service have gone way down hill. The room was surface level clean. However there was dust and dirty anywhere that wasn’t a regular wipe down. We ended up buying Lysol wipes and disinfectant spray to ease our concerns. There is also now a sign at the front desk saying each floor of the hotel only gets cleaned every other day. This results in people putting their trash in the bin in the hallway which also does not get emptied unless the front desk is called. It got emptied while on an off day due to it being overflowing which resulted in garbage debris being left all over the floor for a period of time. When we asked for clean towels we were told that we had to give the old towels first. Not a big deal but they expected us to bring them downstairs to them and retrieve the new ones. It was like this for everything as only one person was usually working. Since one person can’t physically maintain a multi floor hotel on their own, the property has gone significantly downhill. This used to be a great place to stay for the cost but I won’t ever be staying there again in the future."

"When I went to go check in the room smelled horrible, there was no power , the lights wasn’t on… I had to use my flashlight to see and the bathroom was disgusting… I went back to the front desk and told them my family and I couldn’t stay here… I never stayed there, I had to go back on Hotels.com to book another hotel.."

"Host was very kind and accomodating. Always responsive and helpful. We had a great stay from IL, in the area for a basketball tournament for 2 nights with 4 kiddos and 2 adults. Very clean and very cute place to stay over a hotel in my opinion. Defintely recommended! Thanks Rachel!"
