The receptionist (I don’t remember her name) was extremely kind and very helpful, and I truly want to thank her for all her assistance. The place is very clean and beautiful, and the view from the balcony is absolutely lovely. I only stayed for one night, but I will definitely come back for a longer stay. The property was very lovely. The view was amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and very large hot tub but wished it was open every day (they're doing construction on the buildings around the pool so it was only open for half of our stay). The directions for getting into the room were different than what was posted on VRBO and communications leading up to check in time were inconsistent but a very nice woman met us at check in time and it went smoothly from there. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable but we recommend inquiring if the bed was fixed before renting (missing screws to the legs of the bed). The location couldn't have been better. I was told to reset the WI-FI box in the closet and I sent a text asking could someone be sent up to fix it…I’m still waiting on a response. I returned home 2 days ago…that’s a total of 5 days now…DAMN!! Bathroom walls were dirty and dingy and weren’t wiped clean. I had to buy my own towels, tissue, and paper towels. You meet with someone at the front desk Gladys which was not mentioned. The check in process was a headache and the host only called the Icon never talked to me or Gladys. That night I came back I could not get in my room because unbeknownst to me the keypad was dead. I called the host over 20 times of course he didn’t answer. The front desk told me to call a locksmith who didn’t show up until 4am. I had to pay 150 to him. In the morning the host said he would send someone to bring batteries, he did not. I had to walk a half a mile to the CVS to buy batteries. He did not ever answer his phone the whole duration of the stay, only messaged through the app and barely communicated through there. I am very disappointed. Do not stay here! Beautiful with amazing pool and convenient to area events and restaurants. The communication and check in was very confusing and slow. Taking more than 30 minutes. Host had to be contacted via app but responded quickly. Parking fees were $50 a night and that is not noted in the property details. There is 8$ nightly parking around the corner.
