Hotels in Mettler, Bakersfield from CA $69

The best time to go to Mettler is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather, with moderate temperatures that are ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty and enjoying outdoor activities. Spring brings blooming wildflowers to the nearby hills, while autumn provides comfortable conditions for vineyard visits and agricultural tours without the intense heat of summer.

For those planning to visit the local farms and orchards, late summer and early autumn are particularly good. This is when many crops are ready for harvest, offering opportunities for fruit picking or visiting farm stands to sample fresh produce. It's a nice experience for families looking for engaging outdoor activities.

Conversely, summer can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, which might be uncomfortable for those not accustomed to dry heat.
