The front desk staff definitely need some training . No info , Very curt and unfriendly check in . The place is an older building but a great location. . It does have an elevator and housekeeping staff provided what was asked for promptly. Room Was large with all amenities in bathroom . A/c unit was brand new. Place was very clean although more attention to detail is needed

Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There are some great shop and restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk of the hotel. Pizza place right outside the door is excellent. Main plaza is one block away. I’ve stayed there twice now and have been impressed with the staff and their knowledge of local area.

Liked the nice classic look of the hotel, it's really well located, the staff was very nice and helpful. The firm mattresses were absolutely to my taste. Parking required a three-block walk, which I found good for the exercise--it was easy to drop off our bags before parking, so it's not a complaint on our part! Worth it considering the hotel's wonderful position in downtown Merida.) Our only complaints: we would have liked washcloths and more places to hang towels.

The hotel was cheap for a reason, the rooms are basics, beds are hard, there's a funky smell in the rooms. The pool was great, free parking was appreciated and the staff were helpful. If you want to leave early let them know so you aren't waiting around until 7am to get your car out of the carpark. The staff did seem to have dinner in the foyer at about 10pm which would echo up into our room.

Location is fantastic. A minute from historic Centro. The neighbourhood has restaurant and all shop required. The staff were very flexible and helpful. The red blanket was not too clean and I used it only for a night. I didn't like the shower which is always important.

Budget hotel with basic amenities. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were good. Air conditioning worked well. Slowest elevator, bar none, that I've ever experienced. I was able to login to Netflix on the tv. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Very close to the main square and many restaurant options. A tourism office is located at the perimetre of the main square on the Dairy Queen side. About 1/2 way along under the arches. English spoken here and I found them very helpful.

I stayed here for two nights and I was happy with my stays. My room was facing the street so it is noisy during the day till to 11pm ish but this did not bother me as I was outside everyday. Room is spacious. The location is super convenient and should be appreciated as a good place to walk around. Overall 9.0/10.0 Will come back.
