"We absolutely loved our stay at Folklore Boutique Hotel in Sancerre. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, and full of charm—the perfect place to stay while visiting this wonderful wine region. Our room was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and felt both modern and very much in keeping with the character of Sancerre. The location was fantastic for exploring the village on foot, enjoying the local restaurants, shops, and, of course, the incredible wines. What really made our stay special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt personal and relaxed rather than like a large, impersonal hotel. It was exactly the kind of boutique experience we were hoping for. Sancerre was one of the highlights of our trip to France, and staying at Folklore made it even more memorable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate place to stay in Sancerre. We already hope to return!"

"Absolutely extraordinary property. Easily the best property in Sancerre. However, when we stayed the restaurant had to shut down for a mechanical difficulty, thus canceling a reservation that we were really looking forward to. Still, a spectacular hotel with some of the coolest views of the Loire to be seen."
