Patricia, Dean, and their team made us feel immediately welcome. The morning breakfast routine became a highlight. Eating outside while shaded by trees and listening to the birds was the perfect way to start each day. Location is excellent. The adjacent steakhouse has great happy hour specials, and you can walk straight from dinner to the pier for sunset. We also enjoyed biking around the quiet neighborhood roads with minimal traffic. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints! Wish we’d brought our bathing suits in this overnight as the heated pool was calling us. Located in Old Melbourne historic area next to a fabulous restaurant (dinner) and the public Melbourne Pier for those who want to stroll, bird-watch, or fish. Well-equipped public playground & various courts across street if you’re traveling w wee ones. Or teens. For the money I could have stayed in a rectangular room in a big hotel run by the normal chains....why would you do that? This was fantastic from the second we checked in to our departure. Comfortable, quirky, fun - just what we wanted after a long flight. We stayed 2 nights, probably should have been 3 to enjoy the area. Breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had (we've travelled a fair bit).
