It's not the Ritz, it's an affordable budget hotel. It's an older building (I'd guess from the 70's) and it shows it's age. However, the room was very clean, the A/C works, the water was hot and the staff were good. I never used the pool or hot tub but they looked clean as well. The breakfast was very basic, but at this price point, I wouldn't expect much more. It was one of the most inexpensive motels on the Hwy 1 strip and if I was still on a budget, I would stay there again.

Checking in the lady at the front desk was awesome but the male was a bit of an ahole towards her. No toilet paper in the room. Room wasnt cleaned very well. I didnt have a coffee machine in mine good thing i brought mine. The hallways were not vacummed at all. Bathtub didnt looked like it was cleaned still hair in the tub from previous. Tried having breakfast nothing there there was only 1 person there who had to watch the front desk and do breakfast. The only reason didnt get a total bad review was the staff workng there, overwhelmed but trying the best they could.

I arrived at the hotel at 7pm Friday and given a room and when I got to the room, it looked like someone had been napping on the bed. It was rumpled up and used. The floors in the hallways were dirty, and transients obviously live in this “hotel” the bottom floor suites seem to be full of people that are homeless, on substances or require police attention When they sent someone to my room the first thing he asked me was if I had used the bed. Since this is the reason why I complained I was not happy of being accused of this. He offered to “clean” the room, and I told him I wanted another room as you cannot clean a room in 5 minutes. I’ve worked in housekeeping. The manager/owner gave me a different room, which was very nice of them. It was a clean room and on the second floor. The carpets in the hallways were dirty, when I went for breakfast in the morning at the continental breakfast at 7am (it’s open from 6-9am) there was no food. All the eggs and sausages were gone and they weren’t replacing them on regular intervals. Amazingly, it was actually quite quiet in the area, except for a few police visits to some of the people in the bottom floor suites. I had my dog with me, and thank goodness because when I had to walk her there is quite a few transient type people loitering around the property. There is overflowing cigarette cans and garbage cans everywhere and clothing, shoes, slippers and garbage strewn around the area. Would not stay here again or recommend it ever

This was by far the scariest and most filthy hotel we have been in our lives. The first room was beyond filthy with mud and dirt all over. The bed was not made and it smelled of cigarettes and weed. They moved us to another room. This one was only slightly better. Upon checking the bed it blood on the outer blanket and brown stains on the sheets. We also noticed a high number of transient people and drug deals and use going on from the first floor. The next morning the police raided the place and made several arrests in several different rooms. They refused to refund us directly so an expedia agent called them to get our money back so we could get a different hotel. They hung up on the expedia agent 3 times because they did not want to process a refund. Upon talking to my relitives from Medicine Hat they told us the place is used as a half way hous and temporary housing for the homeless. I hope this review helps someone out there to think twice before staying here. It is not eorth your health and personal safety.

It was priced at 70.00 per nite and was 69.00 too much. The property is rundown. They told us there was a continental breakfast and when we went to eat there was nothing to eat but cereal and waffles. All the other food was gone and when we went to enquire about more the staff was rude so we left.

if you want to stay in this motel, make sure you take your own bed sheet, pillow case and towels with you as they don't wash them after each guest!! Very dirty. the room was not vacuumed either.

It was spacious and the bed was great. The jacuzzi was a welcome addition since both the pool and hot tub were not operative. The promised breakfast yielded only orange juice and "scrambled eggs"! Not even toast as there was no bread!

Sheets were dirty, no face cloths or hand towels, almost no toilet paper, gravel pile on bathroom floor, telephone didn't work, no tissues, air conditioner/ fresh air fan didn't work, sink was stained and dirty. Breakfast was supposed to be provided - there was nothing! No elevator. This is by far the worst accommodation we have ever seen. We should get a complete refund because of the aweful mess this motel is in. They refused to cancel our reservation. What a rip off!

The first room given,the card didn't work, she gave me another room, absolutely no towels,coffee.etc. Was going to just leave to find another hotel, but could not get a refund she said,as I booked through Expedia. So went onto the 3rd room. Had to go ask for towels,coffee. No fridge, I find out when I checked out, the hotel is also used for community housing, which most tenants I seen were very scary. Digging through ashtrays for butts. Will never stay here again. It must be scary, because the front door was locked and I had to be buzzed in & out.

I would not recommend this facility be used to house stray animals let alone people. No working key cards for the two rooms we booked so the front desk needs to escort you to your room anytime you leave it. Hallways reek of cigarettes and pets. Hot tub is "under repair" but has been for over a year given all the other reviews. TVs were not operational in either room we booked. Furniture had stains on it that I choose to believe was old coffee. Shower didnt appear clean. Brought up issues with the front desk and they said I would need to take up issues with hotels.com as that is who we booked with. Spoke with Hotels.com rep and they said to speak to the hotel manager. Asked to speak to the hotel manager and apparently he doesnt work after 4pm or before check out so he was conveniently unavailable.

Room was cold. Didn't seem like the heat worked properly. housekeeping needs a course in cleaning . Sink in the kitchenette was brown and not even a dish cloth supplied. Bathroom could use a major cleaning top to bottom. Some of the lights looked like they were shorting out or maybe it was just all of the dead bugs in them. The curtains didn't close all the way. bought some clips to hold them shut, but didn't cover the holes in them.

I’ve stayed here twice as my company books our hotels. Now I know you can’t expect much for the price but in the times I’ve stayed here I’ve had 1) No TV as there was a “technical issue” 2) Dirty rooms and hallways 3) Ice machines not working 4) Hot tub not working 5) Various types of bugs in my room 6) No hot water to shower 7) Mold in my ice bucket 8) horribly unhelpful front desk staff. I’ve made it clear to my management that under no circumstances will I ever stay at this hotel again.

Wanted waterslide and pool for the daughter. Check in and told the Pool HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR YEARS!! Have a second pool though. Went and saw a dirty little pool and a closed hot tub. Very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Staff were friendly and helpful when you could find them. the room itself was clean and functional. The facility itself is in need of a major overhaul. Several hall way lights were out and several were broken. The parking lot is in need of re-surfacing and better lighting. Carpets were dingy and stained in several areas. Pool and hot tub were out of service and look as though they have been for quite some time. back stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke. Room came with free breakfast but when we went to get breakfast we found it completely empty. Out of eggs, sausage, baked goods, juice and coffee we all empty. There was some cereal left but no milk for it. Had to go to the McDonalds next door to get breakfast. Huge disappointment. The facility always had some unsavory looking people loitering about as well. Never felt safe. Had to occasionally check on our vehicle to make sure it was okay.

First room had no hot water and clearly had not be vacuumed. Very few towels. Second room clearly not vacuumed, very few towels, the door to outside did not accept key, nor could i open outside door from inside. I asked for more towels the next day. None we dropped off. Went for breakfast at 7:45am, no hot food left. Ice machine broken. Disappointing stay. I guess you get what you pay for. The staff were friendly but just didn't carry out requests

This property should be burned down. It is so filthy the front entrance the hallways and the rooms. After being on the road for 13 hours I could have just have cried!

It’s not located in an area that makes you think “wow this is safe” but it was also not what we expected from a Quality Inn. Our first room the toilet was broken and staff were quick to give us a new room, however both rooms were VERY much in need of cleaning, there was make up and other things on the pillows, the floors hadn’t been cleaned and the room over all was in need of upgrading. Would not recommend overall.

The room was ok, not really clean. The room was not refill, no coffee, limited towels. Had to asked for coffee, not a problem. Towels for pool and shower was a nightmare. They clearly under staffs. What make the work for the staffs stressful and as a traveler not a good experience. Pool was nice but dirty around. The hotel needs a lot of renovation and maintenance. I stayed 4 days, nobody clean the room. Breakfast was not the best; again when under staffs you can expect too much. No coffee, limited items, waffles batches too much water what make the waffles not tasty at all and straight to garbage. No syrup,... Unfortunately, i will not recommend this place. Inside and around was not clean. Safety who be an issues.

When we finally got to our room walking through a maze of disgustion the sink had no tap on it at all, it was laying on the counter broken and rusty. Called from desk and got another room which was better however we had no hot water at all
