"James and Christina were absolutely wonderful hosts! They were so interesting to talk with and to share their knowledge and experiences living in Alaska. They want to provide their guests with a quality experience and comfort and they certainly do that. Their cabins are awesome! The decor and thought put into these cabins are quality and comfort. Their cabins are by far are 10 times better than anywhere else we stayed while in Alaska; including the Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge. Each morning they served a wonderful breakfast cooked on the Blackstone grill in the cookhouse. Breakfast was pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon sausage. Coffee, hot tea, milk and fresh orange juice, and bottled water. The cookhouse was available for our use at any time. It had everything you would need to cook a meal; including spices and a refrigerator for our use. We highly recommend this lodge for your stay in this area. "

"My golden retriever pup, Maggie, and I had a great time in McCarthy! Communication with the owners was great. The staff was super accommodating and the space was perfect for our visit. Cozy, quiet, peaceful. So much to do in town and in nature. Thank you! We'll be back (and next time, I won't lose my phone)!"

"The cabins were great, clean and well maintained. The hosts were always available, kind, and accommodating. Close to the foot bridge and easy to find using the directions the host provides (Google gets you to the mile marker, not the cabin). Print or download directions. We had a great stay! Would definitely choose the cabins again."
