Visitors flock to the annual Bagelfest celebration, where the world's biggest bagel breakfast takes over the charming downtown. Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site and Lake Mattoon offer a perfect balance of prairie history and outdoor recreation for weekend explorers.
Worth spending the extra money to stay here. Everything was fantastic. Quiet, clean hotel, very comfortable beds, friendly staff and a great breakfast in the morning. Nothing negative to say. I stayed at the holiday inn the next day and could see the difference - it was only $25 less and not nearly as nice as the Hampton Inn.

For travelling with two large dogs this place was easy and clean. The dogs were comfortable and didn’t disturb anyone. Side yard for potty which had poop bags. Super helpful. Would definitely stay again.
