« Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage). »

« We stayed at this hotel twice in two different rooms. First we booked the deluxe room and everything was fantastic, the second time we booked the double room and it was not nearly as good. Room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The hotel itself however is beautiful, has a lovely peaceful garden surrounding it and the food is incredible! There is plenty of parking. Would definitely return however would make sure to book the upgraded room. »

« This posh B and B was everything we hoped for. From the complimentary drink on arrival to the luxurious room with comfy bed, selection or teas/coffee machine and homemade shortbread biscuits. It was an extremely hot weekend and the air conditioning in our room was so welcomed. We had an evening meal there and attention to details was excellent. Staff throughout our stay were very kind, helpful and attentive. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Byfords and hope to return again. Forgot to...

« I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. Room #16 had no WIFI signal reception (The closest AP is about 60m away). Long term luggage storage service available on site via Stasher »

« We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there. »
