Clean, comfortable room and a helpful staff

The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. Its location is very convenient to the old town within 5-20 min walk for different view points. The apartment staff Anthonio is very nice and responsible person, and his given information is very helpful especially his recommendation on local food and transportation information. He makes our journey more interesting and smooth.

Clean, comfortable, close to old town Matera

Very clean and quiet, comfortable bed, clear information given at checkin and Giorgia helped us to arrange a taxi when we left. The breakfast was very restrictive, a voucher for a coffee and a croissant at a nearby bar and they wouldn't even let my friend (who doesn't drink coffee) have a tea instead. A water dispenser so we don't have to keep using plastic bottles would be better.

We had an exceptional stay in Matera! The property is a gem in a perfect location—just a short walk to the Sassi and the historic center, yet conveniently outside the ZTL, making it easy to reach by car. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully renovated, with a balcony and with excellent finishes and attention to detail. Breakfast from the café across the street was delicious and a great start to the day. Parking was also convenient, with options nearby (free behind the property, paid on the same street, or in nearby garages). A special mention goes to our host, Antonio, who was truly outstanding. He was attentive, kind, and always available for any request, providing us with great tips to explore the city. His hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to experience Matera—highly recommended!

Lovely spacious room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. Two balcony doors overlooking the streets. Complimentary snacks and water and coffee vouchers is a nice touch. Antonio provided suggested walking routes and restaurants. Door locks are dated and clunky and no safe. Noisy crowds at cafe below late at night but windows sound proofed. Would return again.

Great room but limited parking

Lovely property, but due to location in centre of city it was slightly noisy during the evening and no street parking available nearby. The hotel says it has parking, but this is not true since it was only street parking which is always being used and is paid until 8.30pm and from 8am in the morning.

Maria and Gaetano are amazing hosts. Very helpful tips on where to go and the restaurant recommendations were all on point as well. We forgot something and Gaetano recovered it for us and was waiting for us when we came back to pick it up. This residence is highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay in Matera

A very very nice experience. I stayed for 3 nights and it was a pleasure. The host is superservice minded, the room is very smart designed and equipped with amazing thinking behind the small details that makes a difference! I would definitely choose this accommodation again if I visit Matera. Perfect location - near Sassi and bus/train station. Clean and fresh room with all thst you need - wifi measured 35 mbit! Super serviceminded host... using whatsapp and other tools to comunicate... Voffee,tea, water, candy, a big cooler, espresso machine, water boiler, everything you need is there. Comfortable beds, warm and cosy, balcony and window to open for fresh air... I guess you notice I am very happy to have stayed in this B&b - and not to forget a great Green Food cafe across tje street with nice Italian breakfast included!
