"We stayed over the 4th with a group of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) and had a blast! The guys fished every morning and they caught something each day! We kayaked, played in the river, enjoyed the firepit, and explored downtown Seguin and the Riverwalk. The kids also enjoyed the amusement park close-by. The house feels secluded yet close to shopping. The house was stocked and had tons of toys, bikes, puzzles, and river gear to use. I appreciate how attentive and kind the homeowner was as well. We made some wonderful memories:) "
"This is my review lmk what you think also***We enjoyed our stay here in Seguin, Tx. We were just minutes away from multiple groceries stores (Walmart, HEB) and gas stations, shopping area (Ross & Marshall’s) while still having a water front access experience. I was a bit unprepared for the amount of steps but we had no problems and enjoyed our stay and the water.In the very middle of the water. It was shallow enough for us to stand comfortably and enjoy our time in the water. The kayaks and paddle boards were also nice to be able to site see.The back patio is very spacious and provides plenty of room for everyone to hangout. They had several games to play such as corn hole boards, Yahtzee, and a ping pong table to keep everyone entertained. We also traveled to new braunsfels to go to the Gris Mill and Gruene Hall (took about 35 min with all the stop lights). And went back another day to float the Comal. Would recommend and also give recognition to the owners for there timeliness on responding with any questions or needs we had. "
"Outside of how nice the home is, and plenty of towels there wasn’t much else that’s good. Cobwebs all over the house, master shower didn’t work and was leaking, no soap to wash dishes, no batteries in the remotes. Moving blankets placed on beds, Very limited dish wear (2 plates, one cup,) for a house that’s suppose to accommodate 6 people there wasn’t enough stuff to even do so. I had to contact the owners to get the code to get in after check in time, as I was never sent anything prior. The house looks like it’s for rent and they use VRBO as another source of income in the mean time. "
