Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites

"We had a great stay at the Shell Island Resort. The location and access to the beach was great. The ocean view from the room was fabulous. It was nice to have the suite and an extra bathroom. This really helped when getting ready. The staff was great. The food at the restaurant was just ok, but service was really good. We only went once for breakfast. Renting the chairs was easy and super convenient. The hotel is not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and loved the ocean access and views. I would stay there again for sure."

"Amazing experience. Looking at the building from the outside from the street you wouldn’t expect how nice the property truly is. The staff is amazing, amenities are plentiful and, the overall experience is worth your time and hard earned money. Will be booking another trip to this place in the near future !"

"We were perplexed that the room lacked some basiciems. , in our view, it needed either a closet or some hooks,,to hang clothing. Also very few towels and such were not in the room initially, so had to ask for additional ones. Having a wood type floor at a beach type property complicated keeping it free to walk on. It required shoes at all times. No housekeeping services, as stated, for multiple nights was a little inconvenient. A blackout curtain or blind would be nice for privacy and keeping out so much light. We were happy with the room as it was convenient quiet and reasonably priced."
