"The room was clean and the bed comfortable.. but the hallway and elevator area showed age… not an issue. Restaurant was delicious!!"

Holiday Inn Resort Lumina on Wrightsville Beach by IHG

"Nice place to visit the beach while staying on the beach. Cost $$$$ Difficult to find a place to smoke. Indoor pool could be warmer. They had two or three whirl pools but now only have one after remodeling."

Admiral's Quarter

"Admiral's Quarters is a typical beach-front motel. It's in a perfect location, has a sparkling clean pool, with easy (and short!) access to the beach. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. Carolina Beach is just 10 minutes away and there are plenty of places to eat. I also like that the AQ is in walking distance of Bud and Joe's Bar, which is a classic beach dive bar. I'll be making reservations soon for another off season stay."

"The property was excellent the location was awesome. Beautiful views out on the balcony. The only thing that would have made the trip better, is that the sliding door didn't have a screen, so we weren't able to leave the door open at night and listen to the ocean. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back!"
