"Both elevators were out of order the day we left and we were on the 8th floor with our dog. We are in our 80’s and my husband had to walk down 8 flights of stairs and worse, up all 8 flights after having had open heart surgery a few years ago. I, too, have a heart condition. Luckily a young woman on staff was nice enough to carry our suitcase downstairs (after waiting 45 minutes) so we could check out. The hotel had a horrible lobby and construction equipment all over…very unwelcoming. One elevator was already broken when we checked in. This hotel shouldn’t be open until the renovation is completed. It was also very noisy from the highway out front making it difficult to sleep. We’ve been repeat customers because our dog can stay free, but NEVER AGAIN. No one even apologized. Also, you had a sign saying to put our “Do Not Enter” sign on the door if we want to be environmentally friendly and not have new sheets, etc., but there was NO sign. So we made one and put it on the door but the maid changed the linens anyway. La Quinta doesn’t know how to run a hotel…"

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the parking was convenient. What I liked most was that the property was quiet and relaxing. One thing I didn’t like was that the key had to be changed often. Sometimes I would come back from walking or going out, and the door would not open, so I had to return to the front desk again. That was a little frustrating. Overall, it was still a good stay."

"The room was nice. It was clean pretty basic standard hotel room. The breakfast was good as far as a free breakfast comes the one thing that really threw me off was the pool. It felt very odd to just have my two kids my husband and myself in the pool while I'm very anxious kid was probably about 20 was just watching us swim. It felt kind of voyeuristic to be honest besides that it was fine. I think it just doesn't make sense that kids under 18 can't go in there without a parent, but there's also a very anxious and nervous lifeguard, but besides that good time and I don't regret staying there. "
