"Overall good again but this time the spa area was under construction and there were kids running arouns, diving and jumping in the pool and screaming. It was so loud it wasnt enjoyable on this visit as no one from the spa was telling them or the parents to control it"

"Staff at check in were great. Car park was very full because there's a public gym at the hotel. Hotel rooms are weird - there's only a window in the bathroom. No fresh air available in the actual hotel room. Air con system is rubbish. Room was dusty throughout. Terrible night's sleep because there was a thumping noise coming from above my room - it sounded as if we were directly under the gym and there was always someone throwing weights at all hours. Not a good experience. "

"It is so unfortunate that a hotel with this potential has been somewhat neglected. We have visited previously and the change since then is apparent. Still wonderful staff, still a fantastic location but the rooms are in dire need of attention. Nothing as horrific as mould or dirt, still very well cleaned but the cleaners have an uphill struggle with the aging of the property. We will most likely return, it's still a good hotel but it could be fantastic!! "

"We were in Southampton to visit a family friend and this rental was 5 minutes away. It was a beautiful, quiet and comfortable location. Watching the foals chase each other or run with their mothers was so enjoyable! We were 20 min from the edge of the New Forest National Park and visited Beaulieu and Lymington for nice walks and delicious food! Bellord and Brown was an excellent brunch and the Fisherman’s Rest was an excellent dinner! We were also an easy drive from Salisbury and Stonehenge. Nearby in Eastleigh, we enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Lakeside Cafe and took some tasty cake to go! Steve was a wonderful Host and appreciated the thoughtful pantry items to get us started. We loved the all in one kitchen appliance that allowed us to enjoy filet mignon and scrambled eggs with our morning coffee. Bonus - all the manuals for the appliances were there in a drawer to know how to go from using a microwave to a grill or convection oven. We look forward to coming back to stay here again next year! "Everything was top quality and everything you could possibly need. Rooms lovely and beds extremely comfortable. Only met Giuseppe briefly as we spent most of our time with our families who were camping at Marwell Resort, but if we had been at the cottage there was a lovely wood burner available had it been chilly plus blankets etc. The village,Twyford is lovely too."

"Lovely converted loft with everything we needed for self-catering holiday. A short drive from Eastleigh where family live."
