"Our recent visit to Shady Pines was an absolute delight, marked by warm hospitality and scenic outdoor adventure. Shady Pines offered a welcoming retreat where every detail contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The home was clean and well appointed, and Mary Beth is an exceptional host.We spent a day at Prince Gallitzin State Park, known for its expansive landscapes and well-maintained trails, the park provided the perfect backdrop for hiking. We look forward to returning to do some more hiking and fishing at Glendale Lake. We would highly recommend Shady Pines."

"Stayed here while visiting Indiana for a softball game . Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, great amenities and big rooms . There is a restaurant on the first floor that serves breakfast and also dinner including a bar."

"This property is exactly as described - comfortable, roomy, and clean. Host is a great communicator. We had to kill a few bugs (as the listing said we might). We made one big mistake in not leaving a porch light on when we went out after dinner. Arriving back in the dark and rain was quite a challenge, but our own fault for not turning a light on at the house. Otherwise, a good stay. And just ten minutes from IUP"
