HERE IS A SMALL VISIT OF THE HOUSE: The main room opens onto the two terraces, it includes a living room with HD television, a table where you can have your meals with a large china cabinet furnished with everything you need to cook and entertain (from oven dishes to champagne glasses) as well as a single bed with its wardrobe and a desk. The kitchen is very functional and is equipped with a Godin stove, a large Carrara marble worktop and a red marble table. The first floor bedroom, with its ample storage space and desk, overlooks the garden. Upstairs, a large attic space houses the second bedroom, with its double bed separated from the rest of the room by wooden partitions, a sitting room, two single beds and a wooden cot (an umbrella bed is also available), a dressing table and the large library. The bathroom has a large shower and overlooks the garden. The house has two terraces, one in front of the house and one behind, overlooking the garden. The house is equipped with central heating and double glazed windows all equipped with mosquito nets. It is ecological: organic paints, stone and lime walls, natural bedding, cotton and linen linen, solid wood furniture.... THE CALANQUES NATIONAL PARK is 300m from the house, with its hiking trails to the most beautiful Calanques. The garden is great we took all meals outside and enjoyed the calmness. It is a bit challenging to get by car into town. We had our bikes with us which is a good way to move around. Außerdem einen hübschen Innenhof zum Grillen mit Blick auf die Felsen. Guter Bäcker und kleiner Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke, Badestrand fußläufig 5 Minuten. Mit ÖPNV gelangt man für kleines Geld bis in die Stadtmitte am alten Hafen, in die andere Richtung zum Wandern in die Calanques. Was will man mehr. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem, was man im Alltag braucht, sehr reichhaltig ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Es gab sogar eine Möglichkeit auf dem Grundstück 4 Fahrräder unterzustellen, ohne dass dies die Attraktivität des Außenbereichs eingeschränkt hätte. Die Highlights für uns waren: Die ruhige Lage, kurze Wege zum Meer und in die Calanques, die Patisserie nebst anderen Einkaufmöglichkeiten gleich um die Ecke. Eine kleine Bibliothek mit interessanter Literatur sowie Informationen und Kartenmaterial zur näheren und weiteren Umgebung machten eigene Recherchen überflüssig. Es ist ein gemütliches, schönes Haus und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für die Ferien benötigt. Sehr zentral zu den Wanderwegen der Calanques. Mit dem Bus ist man in kürzester Zeit mitten in Marseille. Die Strände sind fußläufig erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt! Christine hat uns bei der Ankunft freundlich begrüßt und über die wichtigsten Dinge informiert. Die Lage ist top. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar, zum nächsten, großen Supermarkt sind es ca 3km. Hier bekommt man alles: Frischen Fisch, Obst, Gemüse... In der direkten Nähe sind mehrere Strände . Deutsche Touristen sucht man lange. Man ist mitten in Frankreich. Perfekt. Die Calanques sind 5 Minuten entfernt. Herrliche Wanderungen mit tollen Aussichten. Aber bitte beachten: Im Sommer sehr heiß und viele Höhenmeter. Der kleine Garten ist ein Traum. Hier haben wir gelebt, sobald wir zu Hause waren. We were glad to find a washing machine in addition to what was mentioned. The garden is lovely and private and the neighborhood very quiet and pleasant. We were there the 3rd week of June and never felt too warm inside the house. The bakery and closest market are lierally within 5 minute slow walk and both are good quality. The house is more than well supplied with linen, pots, dishes and hot water. We didn't get to meet Marc but were beguiled by Christine and her friend who are down to earth , funny and creative. Christine suggested that if we didn't want to have a long, hard hike into the Calanques we could reserve at a restaurant and thus be allowed to drive in. This was a great suggestion for us lazy septuagenarians. We spent about half of our week in Marseille and half in or near the calanques. As others have said it's a good balance. The ferry from Pointe Rouge into the Vieux Porte is great and we really enjoyed our 8 calanques boat tour from Cassis. Thabk you Christine and Marc! ##### irene D. Oct 9, 2018 #### wir waren begeistert von dieser location und unseren gastgebern liebe christine & marc, wir haben uns in ihrem haus wie ZUHAUSE gefühlt. das haus entspricht ganz den unfangreichen photos - es ist mit viel liebe eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich (großer TV ist vorhanden - aber wir haben ihn nicht benötigt, bücher gibt es in der oberen etage, auch eine gitarre und klavier sind vorhanden). besonders begeistert waren wir von der gut ausgestatteten küche - herd (ein traum für köche), spülmaschine, kühlschrank, ganz ganz viele gläser, teller, auflaufformen - es ist alles vorhanden- und vor allem sehr sauber und in einem sehr guten zustand. salz, gewürze, essig, öl, marmelade - sogar nutella - war vorhanden auch spülmittel, tabs, geschirrtücher. das haus verfügt über 1 bad mit einer großen dusche und einer toilette - auch hier alles sehr sauber. auf der terrasse ist ein großer tisch unter einer pergola von blättern, der zum verweilen einlädt und an dem sich ausgiebig essen & trinken lässt. sehr gut war auch das die fenster und türen mit fliegengittern ausgestattet sind - vielleicht sollte man sich noch autan zum einsprühen mitbringen, denn die moskitos sind hartnäckig - nicht nur am haus, sondern auch am meer. die lage des hauses ist sehr gut - der bäcker und ein kleines lebensmittelgeschäft ist gleich um die ecke (zu fuß 2 - 5 min) zum meer ca. 5-8 min. auch die bushaltestelle in die stadt ist in 5 min. zu erreichen. wir konnten mit unserem PKW direkt vor dem haus (auf der straße) parken. wir waren 3 erwachsene und haben die zeit dort sehr genossen. wir können diese location weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. liebe christine, lieber marc, wir haben uns bei ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt, es war alles sehr sauber und im vorfeld haben wir schon sehr viele informationen zur umgebung, restaurantempfehlung, bus- und schifffahrplan, etc. per mail erhalten. alles super - vielen dank - merci & à bientot - christina, dieter & rudolf ##### christina-maria r.
