Beautiful riad and superb staff. It's the type of place you feel at home. We started every day with fresh breakfast, various breads, fruits and drinks. Mohamed arranged all transportation and 2 phenomenal activities, but whatever your heart desires. The riad is within walking distance to souks/shopping, restaurants and main square.

Wonderful stay at Dar Hanane

Beautiful building and room, our family of four spent 2 nights in the grande suite. It was amazing. The host arranged a transfer to the property for us (it’s hard to find the first time). After that it’s easy. We had a wonderful lunch on the rooftop terrace made just for us and the breakfast was great as well. They were very accommodating to anything we needed. Highly recommend!

This stay was by far the best during our 14 days across Morocco. It's situation in the old Medina - an absolute oasis in the hustle and bustle. The property is a gem and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Mohamed the manager was so helpful and welcoming, and the chef is a gem with the food so good we just did not get to go out at all to eat.

Très joli riad, très bien situé (quartier Ben Youssef dans la Medina, à la sortie des souks). L'hébergement est très propre, le personnel absolument adorable (surtout avec les enfants !), la terrasse est très belle le matin au lever du soleil et le petit déjeuner est excellent. Petits bémols : la rue qui donne sur le riad n'est pas la plus sûre / propre (problème rencontré avec des enfants agressifs juste devant la porte du riad), et certaines chambres peuvent être un peu bruyantes. Nous recommandons cependant !

Dar Hanane Well Worth a Visit!

Dar Hanane was a well run, 4 star Riad with comfortable quiet rooms, excellent food, a very caring and competent staff that will help you with all aspects of your journey, including excellent recommendations for restaurants arranging tours and even lodging in nearby towns. I cannot say enough about Mohamed and the others at Dar Hanane who helped make our stay in Marrakech very special! Thank you again.

The staff is incredible! They would always serve us fresh breakfast and have hot Moroccan tea for us after a long day of exploring. Mohamed was amazing- he helped us get around the city. And the rest of the staff is super kind. The one thing that I wish was different was the location of the hotel - its very hard to find it in between of hustle bustle of the souks. We got ripped off by our cab driver from the airport and got dropped off in the middle of nowhere and were forced to follow a random stranger who in return asked us money for it. Would definitely recommend a airport transfer.

Great Riad - beware agressive self appinted guides

Dar Hanane is in a side alley just outside the main souk. That makes it more peaceful. It's a calm cool oasis inside allowing you to leave the air con off in daytime temperatures of 40C. Beware of local youths offering to help you find it then insisting on a large tip. Though well travelled we found this intimidating.

Riad - Definitely worth a visit

Highly recommended. Lovely Riad with excellent staff. The meal we had there was the best we had in Marrakesh. Can’t praise this place highly enough.

Dar Hanane was the perfect place to stay in Morocco! It was walking distance to all of the major tourist spots and the local food and activities were incredible. The staff at Dar Hanane was kind and hospitable; always making sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay.

Very tranquil and peaceful inside, and we feel safe. The room is quite spacious and the whole place smell like a spa facility. The roof top terrace is a must visit, we had breakfast and dinner there. Really enjoyed it.

Det här är ett mycket trevligt litet riad i en av de mer fattiga områdena i Medinan. En del skriver att det känns osäkert på kvällen och det tyckte inte vi. Men då området är fattigare så är det självklart att det finns fler försäljare eller människor som söker din uppmärksamhet. Vi fick en mycket bra genomgång av staden och vad vi ska tänka på när vi kom. Rummet var fint och närheten till öppna spisen gjorde att vi spenderade många kvällar och mornar framför brasan. Bra takterrass med möbler. Vi kände flera gånger att vi var som hemma på det här stället. Rekommenderas.

Riad situé juste à coté de la maison de la photographie, dans la médina. Chambre très agréable, la salle de bain un petit poil en dessous en terme de qualité. Patio et pièces communes ont beaucoup de charme. Point très positif: la terrasse avec sa vue sur les toits de Marrakech, un régal pour le petit déjeuner le matin. Le personnel est adorable, Mohammed à l'écoute des besoins.

Riad manager was very good at providing maps and directions for the area around the riad. He was also very helpful in giving ideas for area activities, day trips and restaurants. Our room in the riad was comfortable and the roof top terrace was wonderful.
