Pismo Lighthouse Suites

"We upgraded to a two bedroom suite in the old Shore Cliff side of the Pacific Point hotel - the newly refurbished room was beautiful and our balcony had the best view I've ever seen anywhere in the world - absolutely spectacular. Loved spending time on it and saw dolphins and whales. Beds were comfy and we slept well. On the downside, the kitchenette wasn't well equipped or easily useable - it had a microwave and large fridge but loads of practically empty cupboards (no cutlery, very few pieces of crockery) and - most bizarrely - no sink to wash up in! We'd brought some deli food for dinner but as there were no plates we had to eat out of some small coffee cups we found and when these were taken away by housekeeping the next day, they weren't replaced. When we requested cutlery from reception we were given plastic knives and forks which were pretty useless for chopping and not great from an environmental perspective."

"This is a very cute little one place. Ours was right by the heated pool. The lady that checked us in walked me over and opened the room and showed me around. They had little snacks and water for you that were complementary. They didn’t have an ice machine but they did provide a small cooler of ice! Over all I would definitely stay here again!!"

"I would recommend staying at the property! It is clean, tidy. The amenities in the property are excellent. The parking is $30 which is secure. However you can park over night for free on the street until 9am next day."

AC in rooms was a nice addition and the pool was clean and refreshing. The only thing you might miss is an elevator serving the second floor. They have a small open lift system to help with getting up the handful of steps to the first/ground floor."
