Very pretty old house completely renovated and insulated. Detached house with original beams and slabs of Burgundy to the ground. Comprising a separate kitchen dining room and living room opening onto a large south facing courtyard on the ground floor. 2 bedrooms, shower room and toilet upstairs. It offers a room with a 140 bed and a bedroom with 2 beds 90 which can be joined. In the satellite TV lounge, wood stove. Large private courtyard of 150 m2 accessible to cars. Very nice view of fruit trees and garden to the south.

Nice place to visit Bourgogne and Champagne
The house has everything we needed, kitchen is complete and there is also a washer. That’s very nice when making a roadtrip. Outside we could sit quiet and enjoy the courtyard.

Gîte très agréable
Cette maison de vacances à Marcenay est idéale pour explorer le Châtillonais. Le charmant jardin avec un bel étang (grenouilles ! salamandres ! couleuvre !) est un bon endroit pour se détendre. Agnès est une hôtesse correcte et charmante. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances ici.

Jolie maison mais très mansardée à l'étage
Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de notre hôtesse qui était présente à notre arrivée. Les explications sur le gîte nous ont données de façon très claire. Nous avons eu un petit problème avec le pommeau de douche que notre hôtesse a réglé de façon très efficace. Malheureusement, nous avons dû écourter notre séjour d'une journée tellement nous avions mal au dos tous les 3. Nous mesurons respectivement 1,97 m, 1,77 m et 1,73 m et l'étage est entièrement mansardé (les 2 chambres, les wc et la salle d'eau). Nous ne pouvions pas nous tenir debout et devions, en plus, nous baisser régulièrement pour passer sous des poutres encore plus basses que le plafond mansardé. Résultat, au bout de 3 jours, nous avions tellement mal au dos que nous avons décidé d'écourter notre séjour d'une journée. Je fais toujours attention aux mansardes sur les photos car je sais que cela nous pose problème. J'ai bien vérifié avant de réserver ce gîte mais les poutres n'apparaissent sur aucune photo. Il ne m'était donc pas possible de me rendre compte à quel point les poutres allaient nous poser un problème. Des photos prises sous un autre angle auraient pu éviter notre noël gâché. Si vous êtes petits, jeunes et sans problème de dos, ce gîte est fait pour vous. Pour nous, restera le souvenir d'une mauvaise expérience.

Location vraiment charmante dans un petit village. Le contact avec l'hôte était super. La maison est vraiment bien équipée et confortable. Le point fort étant la cour / jardin. Vraiment super.

Sehr schöner Urlaub
Sehr ruhige Lage, sehr sauber. Sehr lange Menschen sollten einplanen: Die Decken sind eher niedrig, da es sich um ein altes Haus handelt und im Dachgeschoss durchgehende Balken sind. Ansonsten war alles paletti!

Off the grid at the country side
In this crazy covid-19 year, this was an extra nice place to stay. The host Agnes and the well equiped house were very welcoming. The village is really quit, so is the area surrounding it. If you plan to have limited access to online, this is a place to look for. We enjoyed it and wish Agnes to have many other guests who enjoy the place.

Erholsame Ferien in einer wunderschönen Gegend und einer tollen Unterkunft
Das Ferienhaus in einer alten Schmiede ist wunderschön renoviert und eingerichtet. Es fehlte in der Unterkunft an nichts. Besonders angetan waren wir von der Ruhe im Ort und in der Umgebung, etwas was man von zuhause fast nicht mehr kennt. Die Gegend ist einfach toll und ein Aufenthalt in der Region nur zu empfehlen. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Auch noch ein Dank an die Vermieter, die sehr nett uns hilfsbereit sind.

Erholsame Familienferien in der wunderschönen Côte-d'Or
Wir entschlossen uns für eine Woche Ferien fernab von überfüllten Stränden in einer uns bislang unbekannten Gegend von Frankreich. Das Haus in Marcenay war dafür sehr geeignet. Es ist stilvoll renoviert, modern und gut eingerichtet, und hat seinen Charme trotzdem bewahrt. Die Vermieter erlebten wir als sehr nett und zuvorkommend. In der näheren Umgebung ist das Restaurantangebot recht überschaubar - kein Problem, da das Kochen in der sauberen und komplett eingerichteten Küche Spass machte. Grillieren und essen konnten wir im idyllischen und ruhigen Innenhof. Uns gefiel die Gegend mit den weiten Feldern und den alten Dörfern und Städtchen sehr. Für alle die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen eine Empfehlung!

Excellent séjour dans un petit gîte propre et bien équipé convenant parfaitement pour une famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants souhaitant passer des vacances au calme. Bonne situation à 12 kms de Chatillon-sur-seine. Propriétaires sympas et discrets. Petit bémol justifiant 4 étoiles sur 5 : wifi très aléatoire
