This home is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Blanco, where you will find local shopping, dining, and breweries. The Hayday Getaway will host up to four guests and welcomes furry friends for an additional fee. Traveling with family and friends? The Hayday Getaways sister property, the Blue Jay Getaway, is just across the way and offers accommodations for four as well. Upon arrival guests will appreciate the modern use of texture and color giving the Hayday Getaway a warm and welcoming feel. Colorful cow paintings on the walls of the living room are a nod to the thriving cattle ranching community of Blanco. Guests will find the accent walls create a bright and fun space for gathering. With a large screen television and a comfy sofa, this space is perfect for relaxing with a favorite beverage and watching a movie. With a modern farm sink and lovely tile work with fun pops of green, guests will find the kitchen offers all the conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea with a Keurig coffee maker. This well equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking with family and friends. The bedroom offers a queen bed and soft linens and provides a restful night’s sleep before the next day’s activities. Pets are welcome at the Hayday Getaway! The spacious, fenced-in backyard provides the perfect place for guests to spend the evening watching a glorious Hill Country sunset. Guests are encouraged to use the fire pit for roasting s’mores, keeping warm on a cool night, or gathering around the fire to reminisce with friends. On a clear night, the stars and constellations of the night sky are sure to impress. Looking for an outing for the day? Blanco has several fun attractions for those wanting to explore the local area. The area is rich in history and has plenty to offer guests. Visit Blanco State Park and enjoy a day of fishing, swimming or hiking. Interested in the Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience. Within 30 minutes, enjoy the day exploring Fredericksburg, travel to Wine Road 290 which offers 19 wineries within a few miles of each other. Visit one of Fredericksburg’s two amazing museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War and the Pioneer Museum. During the summer, make sure to stop by a fruit stand and grab some famous Fredericksburg peaches. Spend the day in Kerrville at the Schreiner Park located on 517 acres on the Guadalupe River, where you can swim, rent boats or enjoy hiking trails. The Museum of Western Art and the Pollinator Museum are fun and interesting for all ages. Indulge in one of the fabulous restaurants while listening to local artists’ music. All the three doorknobs except for the front were about to fall off they were so loose. I tightened them up for you. Also a back porch light was dim and garage was not working at all. There was a string of lights that were there to plug in or turn on that were cool once you found how to do that. And that front house had same address as the back one so may need to find a way to indicate each. But you helped us find the place through texts so appreciate being available for questions. We had such a great time relaxing and visiting. The location was great. The house was clean and comfortable and we loved the farmhouse/shabby chic decor. The only things that I would suggest as things that need some attention would be all the roly-poly bugs throughout the house. The ac vent over the butcher block counter dripped a lot of condensation. I put a trash bag on that section of the countertop to keep it from getting soaked. The last thing is the window in the bathroom needs some sort of covering for privacy. After a long travel we got to the property to find no toilet paper at all in the property. We immediately had to get back in the car to go to the local grocery store to use their restroom and buy our own toilet paper. TV has Only local channels all channels are listed but owner doesnt subscribe to them. It is not a smart tv so that should be disclosed so someone could bring their own roku. Property is pet friendly but we did not bring a pet but had to constantly clean all our items and selves from left over pet hair all weekend from lack of cleanup frim previous guests. Washcloths were dingy and had rust spots on them. The bed mattress is comfortable but was the loudest creakiest bed we have ever slept on. One of us had to sleep on the couch as it is too loud for partner if you need to move. Dead Bugs were throughout the inside. Positives were coffee pods were available for coffee in the Kuerig. Property is close to downtown and quiet. We were just disappointed by overall as we have used this property company for rentals several times now and this was our first negative experience. ##### Jeremy R.
