Fishing enthusiasts flock to Maple Lake's pristine waters for walleye and bass during summer months. Rent kayaks at the town beach or time your visit for the popular Gear-Head motorcycle rally in September.
A/c was a noisy one and never shut off when on “auto” , but it was nearing 95° and humid outside. The bar next door called “Flintstones”, which I believe is not really affiliated with the motel, is a local watering hole with a wonderful staff, outdoor tables with large umbrellas, and outside service. They were wonderful.

We were there on a road trip to pick up a boat we had purchased from 7 hours away. Everything was very comfortable and the location was great. Everything we needed was close enough to walk. If we are ever back in Delano, we would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for a budget hotel. Aging property but tastefully maintained. Good continental breakfast, not deluxe but hits the spot. Quiet and convenient location.
