Amoa Resort Savaii

Amoa Resort Savaii

8/10 Good
"Clean room, cheering staff and helpful, AC was good in room and Siri design of the lobby n front desk excellent. Breakfast was good with tropical fruits, papayas, bananas, but the hot food could have been kept hot throughout breakfast. For example the baked beans, spaghetti and sausages were often lukewarm which is not good in warm weather. With the open air design, sometimes flies get in this area and the the food which annoying. This part of the eating areas could be looked at. The staff is good but during breakfast or lunch or dinner it is good to be around more the guests and check on us all around. Anticipating what’s needed and that guests might want to order more food, wine, Beer or coconut. All in all it was a good stay, as we had a family title bestowal going on at Salelologa, but these are areas that need improvement for the staff and management to reevaluate. Wished we had more time in the pool which was so refreshing that one evening. Thank you very much 🌴🌺🌸"

10/10 Excellent
"Lita the owner was in every way shape and form an incredibly gracious host. We arrived exhausted and burnt out after trekking in from Aufaga and we were at our lowest when she greeted us happily and after looking over our reservations, getting our rooms was no hassle at all. Lita even upgraded my room to an aircon room free of charge just because. She was so kind. There was one day I had to walk up the hill because our rental car couldn't handle the weight of 3 of us and our luggage and she stopped on her way to town, turned around, picked me up in her car and drove me back up the hill no questions asked. She saw how exhausted i was and like a literal angel rescued me again lol. Their laundry service was such a blessing as we didn't have a ton of time on our hands to run into town and do it ourselves but her staff handled it and got all my items back to me clean and ready to go in no time. If it's up to me I will come back and stay here every single time I am in Apia for any future visits. Nothing beats coming back at the end of a long day out in the heat and hustle and bustle and having a clean safe room to rest and recharge in 💯 P.S you really CANNOT beat the view from the deck or the beautiful waterfall you can swim near. This place is paradise ✨️ 😍"

Survivor Samoa Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Staff were so friendly and amazing our whole stay. The breakfast was fresh and tons of it and especially the pikelets, a real winner for the kids. The grounds and gardens are immaculate, all due to the hard work from the staff who would always greet us with a friendly Talofa and a beautiful smile. The rooms oceanside were the best rooms of the 2 beach resorts we stayed at and the beach is truly picturesque and the sunset every night was better than a postcard! The staff put on a fiafia on the last night for our family of 23 and it was as we expected, highlighting our culture. I am definitely recommending this resort to other family members and friends and I have photos and videos to show off!! Tofa Soifua Survivor Samoa Beach Resort and we will be back in 2027 to make more memories!!"

"Tim & Maria were the most welcoming hosts - they went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & relaxing. They gave us so much tourist advice which helped us around both Upolu & Savaii. Would highly recommend Samoan Highland Hideaway."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Manono?
The best area to stay in Manono would be on the eastern side of the island, particularly around the villages of Lepuia'i and Faleu. This side of Manono offers the most accessible and developed areas for visitors. You'll find the majority of the island's guesthouses and facilities here, providing a comfortable base for exploring. The coastline is generally calm and features sandy stretches great for swimming and sunbathing. For couples seeking a quiet and romantic escape, staying in a beachfront fale (traditional Samoan hut) in Lepuia'i is ideal. These fales often open directly onto the sand, offering uninterrupted ocean views and a peaceful setting. You can spend your days relaxing by the water, snorkelling in the clear lagoons, or taking strolls along the shore.Travellers looking for a relaxed, authentic experience will also appreciate Faleu. This village provides a glimpse into local life, with opportunities to observe traditional activities and interact with residents.
When is the best time to go to Manono?
The best time to visit Manono, Samoa, is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny days with lower humidity and less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and enjoying the island's natural beauty. The calmer seas also make boat transfers to and from Manono more comfortable and reliable. This period is superb for those looking to maximise their time enjoying the beaches and the relaxed pace of island life.Couples looking for a tranquil escape will find these months particularly appealing. The pleasant weather allows for uninterrupted romantic walks along the coastline, snorkelling in the clear waters, and enjoying picturesque sunsets without the concern of sudden downpours. The drier conditions also mean clearer visibility for exploring the marine life around the island. For families, the dry season offers the most comfortable conditions for children to play on the beaches and in the shallow waters. With less rain, there are more opportunities for exploring the island's paths and experiencing local village life without weather interruptions.
