Pool On-site This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is located in the ideal friendly family spot! Just 100 yards from the Mammoth Creek park, you can fish the creek, use the playground or picnic at the tables or large grassy area or enjoy the Mammoth Community Rec Zone or LA Kings Ice that offers a host of activities and year-round recreation opportunities. Just a short walk across the street and you are at Vons, shops, restaurants, and the movie theatre! The Chateau Blanc complex also offers a large outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Everything you need to keep your little ones entertained. Inside the unit features floor to ceiling windows, wood-burning stove and vaulted ceilings. The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare family meals. The living room features a comfortable large sectional and large flat screen TV with DVD player, complimentary WiFi, and unobstructed views of the Sherwin mountains. The upper deck also offers a place to soak up the mountain views, enjoy the outdoor seating. The master bedroom has a queen bed. There is a home office space with workspace so you can work/school remotely. The second bedroom on the lower level has a queen bed with Smart TV, with the third bedroom featuring three twin beds, Smart TV. This condo sleeps a maximum of 7 people and comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There are no stairs to this unit, two levels inside, and no smoking or pets are permitted. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a nice late Spring ski weekend in April 2016\. The condo is literally behind the Stove parking lot with great windows that overlook the park and face the Sherwins and Mammoth Mountain. Wonderful views if that is your thing, but also so easy to walk to Vons, Mammoth Tavern, or a nice stroll on the McGee Creek path. I liked the balance of being located near the hustle and bustle of the town, but still enjoying the views. We walked to the park with our daughter several times, which was also nice. The layout of the condo is great and comfortably accommodated 6 adults. It could sleep more, but bathrooms might be a little tight since there are only 2\. Kitchen is very well stocked with all the gadgets you would need and a few odd spices, etc. My only complaint is that the condo is a little dated -- while some updates have been made like the laminate wood flooring, the kitchen and bathrooms could definitely use a refresh. I also think the "cabiny" feel could be improved by taking down the old, dated paneling. Most of the furniture was very comfortable, but a few pieces could be inexpensively updated (coffee table, card table, sofa in sunroom) and the overall feel would be greatly improved. It was in a very convenient location, close to the shuttle stops and Vons. The place was large, warm, and well furnished, and all 8 people slept comfortably. Reviewer Comments: Check in/check out was a breeze, just grab your keys and parking permit at the office, and drop off the keys at the drop off box at the same place. The office is only 2 minutes from the cabin, and there's a Vons right across the street which is a plus if you need to stock up any food/drinks/essentials. Plenty of food nearby as well. 10-15 minutes up to the mountain. The house was 2-story, the only down side is the kitchen and living room are located upstairs, so you need to climb up a stair to bring the food/drinks up. The kitchen, bath, and rooms are all fully equipped and very clean. There're three rooms and two bathrooms, so it's perfect size for a party of 8\. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Although there're two bathrooms,we would suggest not to take shower at the same time because hot water is not enough for two showers. So just take turn! We received wrong information in our email regarding to parking arrangement. It says "two assigned parking spots are located in a parking garage numbered #105"; however, we could not find any parking garage in the complex nor any numbered spots. We called the office immediately and figured out the information was incorrect. We just park in front of the house. Overall, the rental experience was better than what we expected. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Mostly we loved the view, and we spent several hours one day just watching our kids play outside in the snow with a mountain view behind them. While the property was clean and well stocked, the furniture and carpets are pretty old and worn out which you cannot tell from the photos. The top bunk bed did not have a rail, which for my small children meant that none could sleep in it. Luckily we didn't need the 8th bed. ##### Amy A.
