Ona Luna Park

8/10 Good

"We had a lovely buffet breakfast and dinner (so many options to chose from), with lovely staff everywhere, and there was two big swimming pool available at the property with bar. Only 10min walk from the beach and 2-5min from supermarkets. Also, the bus stop from/to the airport is only 5min walk from the hotel. The only thing was the room, especially the bathroom, which was outdated; the shower glass is not wide enough, so not splashing water everywhere while showering was impossible. AC/ventilation wasn't really working, but considering it wasn't crazy hot, we didn't bother to let the reception know. Lovely balcony, however, not having a balcony net meant having mosquitos day and night in the room, even tho using the curtains (make sure to bring a mosquito spray with you). Only single beds available, even tho booking for a double one. Room cleanliness was okay, but could be better. Reception staff was lovely, and baggage deposit available at the check-out. Considering how much we paid for and the location, we had a good stay and we would definitely re-consider it again in the future for a 2-3 days getaway."

"Amazing! I stayed 5 night and can’t speak highly enough about my experience . The staff is so friendly, kind and most importantly so resourceful to want to help you. Everyone is smiling and there to make your stay lovely. The spa, sauna and steam was great. The location to be across the street from the ocean… perfection! Breakfast included is epic… highly recommend. It’s an extremely safe neighbourhood as well allowing you to walk in and out of town without any stress. They clean your room within 30 mins of putting the sign up. And they are attentive to your needs."

"The place itself was nice, but for the price I expected a lot more. All pool cushions are FILLED with mould, it’s disgusting. The food was so expensive and honestly not that good. We were on our honeymoon and they put two single beds together that felt like we were sleeping on masseuse tables. Again, I normally wouldn’t complain, but for the price I wanted to be honest. I wouldn’t stay there again with how much it costs."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Bonanza Park. We stayed in one of the suites on the left side of the hotel and it was insane. The room was so spacious, the view was gorgeous, and we had a huge balcony that we loved. The AC worked really well and the breakfast buffet was also great with so many options. The amenities were amazing. We were able to use the pool and beach access at their sister properties, which were only about a one minute walk away, so it felt like we had even more to enjoy. The only downside is that the restaurants around the hotel were just okay, so we usually ventured out for food. You also do have to pay for overnight parking down the street, but it was only about a two minute walk away and was easy enough. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again."

"I first stayed in this hotel in the 1960s with my parents. Going back now is a real pleasure. The place has been changed but still retains a magic for me. A wonderful hotel in a great location. All the staff are so cheerful and helpful. Thank you Hotel Balear previously Hotel Balle"
