The location near the town is great (make sure to have a car!) and still close enough to Heraklion. There were plenty of beds and the layout of the houses/villas was great for a large group. We were welcomed with fruit which was lovely. While the kitchen is well equipped with plates, utensils, crockery, etc note that there are no soaps, shampoos, laundry detergent or any of that...

"Pool and surroundings were excellent and the host was very nice and helpful. However the interior was very disappointing particularly the very narrow spiral staircase that 2 75 year olds had to climb up to sleep and my wife had a broken leg and still on crutches!!! We were never told about the stairs and there was nothing on the site indicating that was the situation. Also the beds were very uncomfortable and far too hard and gave us bad backs.the kitchen needs a few more accompaniments as well....

"We had an incredible stay at Villas Anenomilos. we stayed for one week however could have stayed a lot longer. The facilities at the villa are perfect, you have everything you need. The sunset each night was amazing. We rented a vehicle but the local taxi company was also very reliable whenever we needed it, despite there being 18 of us. There are beautiful beaches nearby with bars and restaurants. Our host was very friendly and let us stay beyond the normal check out time as we had a late...

"Four of us had a lovely stay in this property. We had everything that we needed, beds were comfortable, area was quiet (we were out of season). As it was April we paid extra for pool heating but that meant we could use the pool everyday, which we did. The view is stunning and we all enjoyed looking across the sea from the sun loungers in the afternoon. It was a real pleasure to be in such a nice villa for five days."

From the moment I booked Manos communicated with me and gave me so much help with sourcing other things I needed. Anastasia hosted us when we were there she was always on the other side of the phone anytime we needed her. "This house was everything we hoped it would be. Excellent location. Quiet. Gorgeous panoramic view of ocean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Cold air conditioning. Pool is not heated but that did not stop us. The management company and the local manager were amazing. Met us at the house to show us every thing we needed to k ow. Left a bottle of rose and homemade local pastries and coffee for the first day! They checked in with us after first day and we mentioned the only two things we had looked...

"Lovely property - perfect for families or groups of friends! Pool in the garden is so excellent to have, and the town/beach are only a 5min walk away. We grilled outside nearly every day and ate dinner on the lovely terrace. Host was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach and town nearby are great. Highly recommended!"

"Kostas the owner and his mom provided the best hospitality we have ever had. We needed a taxi to go to Samaria Gorge in the early morning and late evening and Kostas took care of everything. House has everything and wonderful pool and gorgeous inside. Highly recommend this villa for large family gatherings or group of friends."
