I arrived at the Ambelos with a clenched jaw and tension headache, I left a week later a completely different person. Everything at the Ambelos made me relaxed. The beautiful environment, the stunning scenery, the generous pool, the convenience of the facilities. The property was spotless and Andreas and the team take such care of the place and their guests, in a calm and friendly crete style manner. Fresh figs offered from the garden, a smile and a chat, it felt more like a retreat, a home away from home. At times it was so quiet I felt I was there alone, when almost all rooms were taken. The location means a car is useful, especially for getting food. However I did survive using public transport and could walk to the beach in 15 mins, and supermarkets closeish by. As a solo traveller I felt safe the entire time, in the hotel and surrounding areas. I'm already looking at deals to come back. Thanks Andreas and the team for a wonderful relaxed week!

Country living at its best. Great pool. Be prepared for no room service or daily cleaning. The property could have used a safe. Plan on renting a car which can be arranged by the front desk. Location is great, just a few minutes to great restaurants and amazing beaches.

We love Ambelos!! And the restaurant on the beach, Stelios, is the best!! We will definitely return!! Its like our second home!!!

le gérant est impressionnant. le domaine est tres propre et il est partout pour que votre sejour soit parfait. Le jardin est très propre, la piscine est très propre , les habitations sont très propres notre seul bemol concerne la disparité entre les habitations/ la notre était semi enterrée sans vue . d'autres sont en étage avec des vues mer

Es war sehr ruhig und ein toller Ausblick. Der Pool war immer sauber und auch das Zimmer bekam aller 3 Tage eine Säuberung und frische Handtücher. Andreas der Besitzer ist super lieb und konnte uns auch bei Fragen helfen. Einziger Negativpunkt: bei der Selbstverpflegung gab es nur eine größere Kochplatte für Topf oder Pfanne. Gleichzeitig könnte man nichts größeres Kochen, aber für zwei Personen war es völlig ausreichend.
